I thought it was the guy from Hollyoaks in GOTG. He looks different without the mustache.

Yeah, most folks in the States don't even know who he is. But I'm happy for him, looking forward to his new gig.

Ah, he landed a role on that show after all!
He'd auditioned for the lead but didn't get it, but it seems these things have a way of working out for the best. I hope Constantine defeats the odds now. I haven't heard the best things about the pilot, and it's on a tricky network and time slot, but it's still US exposure for Emmett, and can't do anything but boost his career even more. No one can call him a failure after leaving Hollyoaks, that's for sure. |

Awww, genius!
Paul Marquess was inspired to cast him as Brendan Brady, and Hollyoaks (and the rest of us) were flaming lucky to have him as long as they did. One thing I'll say about Emmett, no matter what show he's in, he always gives it 100%, and he's always incredibly watchable. Hope it's another step to a great future, so good luck to him! |

I know Friday night NBC is normally considered to be a bit of a death spot but Hannibal has managed to get to series 3 and it is in exactly the same slot as that. Not that I imagine it will be as good as Hannibal but they are obviously committed to it and I don't see why it can't be a success. I know a lot of people on here seem to dislike Emmett, no real idea why, but I don't think anyone can deny that with roles in The Fall, In the Flesh, Guardians of the Galaxy, Atlantis and now a network show in America that he has certainly got something going for him. That's prime time drama on BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, NBC and a named role in a Hollywood blockbuster. |
