Very shallow Rachel - very shallow Pasha.

Whatever the temptation morality dictates that one does not cheat on marriage partner of a mere 16 months - nor does on encroach on such a short marriage union.

The Sunday papers have already leaked certain partnerships today, so I wouldn't worry too much

Having read the article, this was a seven-year relationship. Or more. How many people do you know who split up in that way? It's almost like the marriage at the end is a good-spirited but misguided attempt to make the relationship work.

Any how, not much bothered by it either way. But it would be churlish not to say good luck to all concerned, the ex too

I do feel that this may affect Pasha's popularity. It really doesn't look good.
I know in his book he praised Kimberley's extraordinary integrity so I always thought that would be a quality he admired.

I think her dance problem was Pasha giving her routines that she wasn't really capable of doing. If he had simplified them slightly, Rachel would have been able to relax, dance better and enjoy the experience more.

Good luck to her and Pasha. Hope the relationship lasts longer than Artem & Kara's.

I see your point Pet Monkey but what makes it worse is it wasn't a quiet ceremony I think she had one of those attention seeking tacky magazine covered weddings.
Anyway, i'll shut up now I have too much time on my hands today!

Same here (or rather I haven't and should be working... )

Both Rachel and Pasha seem like low-key, quiet people caught up in high-energy public careers. Maybe they'll be good for each other in a grounding way.

EDIT to agree with Kaycee on the too-complex thing

I heard quite a few months ago they are together - good luck to them. I wouldn't say she left her husband for him though. Don't believe all you read in the papers as they have a habit of twisting and writing rubbish about people. Am sure it is true they are together.

Did she? Urgh, I've never understood how anyone can sell the rights to their wedding ~ surely a wedding is supposed to be a meaningful, intimate experience that you share with family and friends, not a publicity stunt to bolster your bank balance?*

[*unless you're getting spliced for visa reasons, of course ]

I totally agree with you about Abbey and Aljaz. You nailed it . Nothing was going on and to think that a LOT of people thought that they were going to elope after the show

I don't know how many times I said last year, that she is just a very touchy-feely kind of person . I've seen her behavior with other people ( women, men, kids) and she behaved just the same.

Most of the times, reality tv " affairs " are the ones that not overly obvious

Just like Jimmy and Flavia who really started dating after the show. I remember being slightly, (just slightly surprised ) with that one as well.

I wonder WHICH couples are going to have a " showmance " this year

Couldn't agree more. I remember how some people were just waiting for Abbey to leave her husband for Alijaz (rolls eyes) Can you imagine how long this thread would be if it was her rather than Rachel? It would be red hot

Regarding Rachel & Pasha, I hope the relationship lasts, it would be a shame to end one's marriage for the sake of a reckless fling. I really do feel sorry for her husband in all this, he must be devastated

I think this is a bit unfair - we have no idea what was going on behind the scenes. Officially Rachel and her husband broke up after she left Strictly but in reality they could have been separated before that. How can we know for sure Pasha played a role in their marriage break up unless one of the three parties involves comes out and says it?

I said last year that I felt one of the reasons they seemed a bit awkward together was that they had a crush on one another. Sometimes fancying someone doesn't come out as sexual chemistry, sometimes it comes out as total embarrassment.

Also Claudia and Tess, in the red carpet show, hinted about celebs and pros having dalliances. Craig has said that there are affairs and assignations every year.

Yes every year there are secret dalliances that we don't find out about. Everyone involved in the show has mentioned that. The show doesn't milk it and shove it down our throats (pardon the pun) but I suspect that may be because a lot of them are between people who are already spoken for

No wonder a lot of people worry about their partners going on strictly.

How long must you be married then before an affair becomes morally acceptable?

True because I remember them being awkward and just weird around each other

I must admit I didn't see that coming coz I thought there was zero chemistry between them.Thought Pasha and Kimberley had more chemistry and Pasha is my fave pro.

Shows how much I know, lol. Good luck to them but I still feel for her hubby.
