Endemol has signed a contract worth millions by Channel 4 for extending BB for more series coming years. And they are so confident of the show's success that this year's BB will last 11
weeks. The only change being the location. "We've been very happy at Elstree but we are always keen to keep the show fresh," an insider told.

I think this is a good idea. And I think they are planning something big this year, because they indicated "fresh" in several interviews this year. More weeks usually mean more HMs which is also great. I think they might introduce double stand-by's midway this year.

This was in the news last week. BB6 will have an 11 week run. C4 have signed a contract with Endemol to produce BB7, 8 & 9. A new House will be built for BB7.

Clearly from the information I provided, it sounded like that they are building a new house "The only change(this year) being the location... to keep the show fresh"
So are they changing the location and keeping the house the same as
BB5, if this is the case then I dont know why they want to change the location without changing the house, Anyway I liked BB5's house. But I think they should change the house this year as BB5 house was designed in keeping the evil theme in mind. This year its going to be a new theme, so a new house should reflect the new theme.

The BB6 house will be the same house in the same location, remodelled. The BB7 house will be a new house in a new location.

As for how long the show will run for personally I'm not placing any bets until I see an official press release from C4/Endemol as there have been so many rumours.
