why did she ask him to vacate his chair when there were other chairs around - closer to the table I guess but nevertheless to say "can I sit there" was a bit rude and he just upped and moved

That's initially what I thought until I saw Ricci flick ash into an ashtray right next to the chair he moved to.

I think it was a case of, the adults want to talk, go and sit somewhere else baby! The chair was angled towards Lauren. He didn't like it did he!

The chair had an extra two legs to support her weight.

That's not a chair, that's her throne. Imagine how the Queen would feel if she found Prince Charles putting his bum print on the royal seat.

I'm trying to make a point Ruffle, which is, especially after tonight's episode (again) that everybody calls Gary rude for the slightest misdemeanor, yet, barring Audley and Lauren, the rest of them in there are, and have been infinitely more rude than Gary on numerous occasions ........................... but have not been called out as rude.

That chair is "Head of the Table" "The Power Seat"

It's angled to look down onto the other chairs that descend down into the Garden....

Maybe that's the chair that gives the best viewing point and we all know she has to keep her eye on all the housemates.

Yes, she likes that chair - so she can hold court whilst sprinkling the others with her knowledge.

....

Julie Goodyear was another that insisted on 'her seat' whilst in the smoking area. If I recall she used her handbag to stop anyone else from sitting there.

Yup we really did, quite amusing when you are watching from the other side. Ricci seemed to realise but who knows it might have just been Wind?.....

I'm a bit surprised "Resident Psychologist" Judy James hasn't said anything about it...

Hahaha I forgot about Julie actually!...

The funny thing is they would tell Gary how "rude" he was if he marched up to someone and asked them to vacate their chair so he could sit in it.

Maybe she actually believes she has a "best" side to present to the camera. Poor Soul.

Some posters have surmised that 'Dees seat' has the best vantage point for observing exits and entrances in the house..

even his best mate Dee thinks Ricci is a pointless **** and so treats him like the family dog, "off me seat Ricci, be a love and get in your basket"

Spot on. If she had sat on the other seat she couldn't see what was going on.
