Now it's moved stations will the budget be a lot higher?

I'm hoping for a completely different house set up.

Maybe an upside down one
Kitchen upstairs and living room.

Diary room could be in 8

6

sort of glass box in the middle of the indoor garden.

Have Global said anything about the feeds yet, as in whether they have to be paid for or not

FREE FEEDS

Best news all day
I was actually hoping they would be paid for so maybe they weren't so censored like it has been but at least it's live feed, and it can be difficult for outsiders to buy feeds as well.

Looking forward to this season. Ready to dive into live feed again, so ready.

I was hoping the livefeed would be paid for since the free one doesn't have a rewind feature which makes it a bit hard to watch on UK time. No compalints though It's the best BB out there and now with a Big TV Channel budget, should be good.

It seems so long away! Boohoo!

I think BB Canada is the single show I'm most looking forward to in 2015. I hope it delivers after two great seasons, though there's a pessimist in me that thinks it will eventually have a dip in form. No reality show manages to be consistently good. There's always a stinker in there somewhere!

I'm really looking forward to it! I eventually gave up on BBUS last year, so I hope BBCAN has a good season.

It can't come quick enough!

The only thing that I'd like them to improve on is the competitions - too many A/B type quizzes (well, just quizzes in general, really), so I'd like to see more of a mix between physical, endurance, luck, skill and memory.

Oh, and the editing. They need to include more game talks and explain why the players have made the decisions they have. I feel both BB1 and BB2 didn't manage to do that, although BB1 was much better at covering the game than BB2 in the episodes.

Probably not a popular opinion but I hope they stick with A/B competitions, or make them pure luck and inform the HM's that the format will stay like that. So hopefully the "Get the strong physical players out!" mantra gets retired because it never really makes much sense and just detracts from the real game in there.

Tom destroyed himself in BBC1, and Alec and Emmett were never targeted over their physique (except on day one by Suzette - by which point she had nothing else to go on).
Jon, Kenny and Andrew were also never targeted because of their physique in BBC2.
The only time people mentioned it in BBUS16 was with Devon, but that due to his awful social game more than anything, although his physique was often mentioned as a reason to get him out, but Caleb and Cody remained despite their strength - especially Caleb with being in the forces and the way he performed on the first HoH.
I can't remember much fuss about it in BB15, either. Sure, the boys left early, but that wasn't down to their physique. David went due to Elissa's MVP being useful to them, Nick was nominated for not making a deal with Elissa, Jeremy because he's a tool, Howard's social game was awful and he was in a house full of racists.
Can't remember any key moments where the physical players were targeted (either directly or indirectly due to their shape) during BB14 or 13, and as for 12, Hayden and Lane made the final two.

Also, having such a wide range mix of competitions means there's no real reason to target the strong houseguests. Physique isn't going to help you win a quiz, luck or memory game. It's also likely to hinder you in an endurance competition, and depending on what kind of competition they have for a skill competition, may not help them in that, too. So targeting the stronger houseguests because of one type of competition seems dumb and I'm not sure it would happen all that much if such a range of competitions were played.

I think the physical houseguests (specifically guys, but some girls too) will always get a tough deal regardless of comps. It's natural to see them as much more of a threat than the timid girl or the skinny guy whether you're in the BB house or not... but I don't think there's much evidence to suggest the houseguests let it get in the way of the game; I think talk of it only happens during the first week or so purely because there's not a lot else to base your opinions on, but then the houseguests are usually scared of targeting such 'big' players in the first week, so avoid nominating them, so it's six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Depends...

BBCanada is a hybrid of sorts, it's foundation is with the USA version format but it doesn't simply copy the US version, it adds elements from the AUS/UK versions with an original Canadian touch.

The big difference people unfamiliar with the US format and more familiar with the AUS format will probably face is that the viewers don't have nearly as much influence, who's evicted isn't determined by viewers and most things are "in house" and it heavily relies on the gaming aspect of winning competitions and gaining power, forming alliances and betraying people and it's left to an in house vote on who goes.

An issue some might have with the US version is that it can become extremely cut throat and survival of the fittest at times, that's one of my main issues with it... what i like a lot about the Canada version is that it scales back on that somewhat and it's a bit easier to immerse yourself in if you aren't all about "the game" and survival, etc... it includes fun tasks like the AUS version and has more of an upbeat and positive atmosphere and tone to it which makes it standout from the US version if that's what you're into, which... the Australian version is my favorite because of that quirky fun that it has and i think the Canada version does a fairly decent job of trying to add that into the mix.

A massive bonus is that it has live feed, free live feed at that... which makes the Big Brother experience so much more immersive and fun in my opinion, where the US version excels is in it's live feed and i don't think the Canada version matches up to the USA's live feed... but it's free and is decent and in HD.

I do some capturing of live feed, i have some of it archived still if you want to check out some of Big Brother Canada's live feed.

It's just clips i captured and posted to jokers during the season but it gives someone an idea of what it's like.

Last season there was an outcast group dubbed "the lobsters" which were 3 misfits who banded together and had fun, they had a lot of really funny chats/antics.

Here's a few moments with them...

Here's an example of drama in BBCAN.

Here's a longer, deeper look into things, i put up most of Allison's first day in the house..

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1i...ay-6_lifestyle
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1i...ay-7_lifestyle

I don't think it's quite as good as the Australian version simply because i prefer that format where it's not focused so much on the game but in having live feed and including some aspects from the other versions like tasks/secret missions/twists, etc... it makes for a very enjoyable Big Brother experience in my opinion.
Hopefully this helps you, i know you didn't specifically ask me so sorry if you didn't want me to respond.

No worries.

Yeah, it's really well timed in between other series... last season was really good and it's moved to a bigger channel with presumably a bigger budget, i'm expecting good things from the upcoming season. Very excited to immerse myself into after the abomination that is the current Celeb UK Big Brother.

One annoyance, however.. i should inform you, is that you might need to invest in a VPN or proxy that has a Canada IP so you can watch Canadian content. I use Private Internet Access which costs about 7 dollars a month but other people use various methods.

Thanks for that I do need to sort the vpn out.
I think it would be worth it.
Thanks
