Look at Audley. Look at Dee. Would you prefer to eat what he cooks, or what she cooks?

Has anyone else prepared a meal? Everyone's eaten the food so I cannot understand why this has become a personality indicator unless it's the green-eyed monster peeping over the kitchen counter.

100% turnaround on Audley for years I have berated his boxing and showing off about how good he was etc
but he really does behave like a tolerant gentle giant so good luck to him

I think Audley has impressed/surprised a lot of people with his demeanour. I think I now understand why his boxing career nosedived, he is too nice to hit his opponent.

She did have major issues with Gary and loved James until like Kelly and Audley they heard the cheers for Gary and the Boos for James. She is a game player. I remember her twisting what James said when relaying it to Kelly and Audley. James was right about her she is two people, one sober and one when drunk and it don't take a lot to get her drunk.

His said his career nosedived because he got money too quick and spent it on booze and drugs and he wasn't committed to it as he should have been.

yup, it didn't seem aimed at Audley, it was frustration in his voice, I did feel sad, he is begin targeted a lot due ot the fact he is sushing people and raising his hand to shush..in all hoesty if a load of people are over talking/ interrupting..if he asks them to slow down or stop etc..they probably wouldn't hear-

I heard a lot of pain and frustration in gary's voice when he said that he couldn't hear - he has had to be on the receiving end of a lot of s*** since the start- either he genuinely lets it wash over him, or he is spiritual because he needs to lean on something, find strength in something - I sure would be bitter if I had gone through what he has, wishing I had not done this/that - been fit and young still and not hobbling around with a bad knee, having to put aids in to hear -knowing you are old when inside you probably feel you should still be a fit/young alpha male

OK, I am a sucker for a sob story..LOL and its usually all of my own making, but gary gets my vote

He is a true alpha male. James just cannot bear that fact. You can just see him getting so wound up about it - it's quite pitiful yet amusing to watch.”

And that is the crux of the matter. James thinks he can force his way to the top of the pecking order by shouting loudest, getting the biggest gang and being an arrogant arse whereas a real alpha doesn't need to try, they just are and that is eating him up.
For all his puff and wind, Audley is the true alpha in the house without breaking sweat

I'll be completely honest here, when Audley first entered the house my opinion of him was completely "meh", I expected him to be another meathead like David. He's changed my opinion totally, I think he's come across as a great bloke, he is in fact the "man" James foolishly thinks that HE is

Yeah, it was a bit of a sad moment. IIRC, first time we've heard Gary swear while in the house.
