Gary was right though, Ricci was immensely boring. I love it when Gary winds James up just by being honest

Even Gary must of worked out in the house how boring he was. What is it when some people get voted out others get so worked up. They are all out in 2 days for gods sake. Its only a game they are not voting for people to have their heads chopped off. They will see them again in 48 hours.

It was a riposte to Gary because he told him rudely 'he's gone' and rudely 'he was boring'. I'm sure most would expect James to immediately join in trashing his friend as Gary was rather than be annoyed at Gary's rudeness, but there you go

Rewatch it.
Gary didn't say he was boring.. He said he was voted the most boring. It was a possible explanation for James as James said he was surprised Ricci had gone. It wasn't rude
