She just commented something about she thought it was ? disgusting the way grown men treated elderly men in the house (said something also about respecting her Grandad) Whatever she said I interpreted it as she had noticed how Gary was being treated and didn't like it

Can anyone clarify this for me as I missed some of it but I think that was the general gist.

Aye, that's about what she said. Why didn't she say something in the house?

yet she never stood up for Gary whilst in the house.

Especially since her "showmance" Ricci was one of the worst offenders.

Because she hadn't managed to get feedback from her friends and family yet?

Lauren was spot on tonight about James, how nice Audley is and how badly some of them treated Gary. Its a shame she held back so much in the house.

That's what she said (after being told to)

She did tell Ricci not to be aggressive and there is a clip from todays task where she sides with Audley and Gary.

Thanks for clarification everyone - guess she never said anything as too afraid of going against the pack and wanting to win? Power of the group always amazes me.

She has. The other night she was arguing with Ricci because the housemates didn't like the fact that she was speaking to Gary on his bed after Dee's argument with him (that Lauren was being disloyal).

And in today's task she says that Gary hasn't done anything bad to her, when they are accusing her of being a suck up because she doesn't hate Gary like they do.

How does this fit in with the one thing they DID show about her and Gary (the claims that he constantly bumped into her/physically walked right by her)?

She seemed pretty upset at him about that, and supposedly it's part of why Ricci was extra-w*nkery to Gary, as opposed to just being sort-of-w*nkery.

And I do remember seeing a clip of Lauren telling Stephanie Gary is trying and making an effort.

Would someone point out to her that she is not a young girl she is a grown woman ffs. Also she probably won't get the showmance story in famejunkie magazine so the me and audley stood up to the nasty housemates who were bad to an old man story.

Well perhaps she meant what she said afterwards, that she doesn't hold grudges and, as they talked about it and sorted it out, perhaps she didn't see it as an issue after that. Pretty mature really

She did. After Gary and dee rowed, she sat with Gary and was very kind to him. She didn't like Ricci telling her she shouldn't have done that and told him so.

I actually only JUST saw that (I'd missed that show). I have to say that if the person we hear in that sequence (maybe the whole episode) had been the one we saw all along, she might have won this show.

Ricci is to blame. I think being around him made her surly, made her drink more, and not use her brain or her compassion. Ricci came off as such a massive tool in that sequence, and Lauren like she was finally ready to be herself instead of a dimwitted alternate version.

Not often in the heat of the moment of a row, but there have been a few times when she's said something in Gary's favour. The other night she tried to tell Ricci that people were being out of order and that she didn't like the way in which Ricci himself dealt with Gary in the kitchen, but it was falling on deaf ears.
Even on the live feed the other night, in the pool she told Edele that she didn't see it the same way as her and that she likes Gary.

It's hard to say because as many housemates are so eager to point out, 'we only see an hour a day out of twenty four'.
See how it can be cut both ways?

I only thought about this earlier this evening, but do you remember that scene where Dee and Lauren were bitching about Gary when he was sat right next to Lauren? Anyone got a link to that clip. I'm just wondering if Lauren wasn't really bitching and that it was more Dee slagging Gary off to Lauren, and that Lauren was more of an observer and listener than a perpetrator?

Dee was making out that Gary was treating the place like a hotel and having people waiting on him hand and foot, but the interesting thing now in hindsight is that Lauren actually kindly offered to make Gary a sandwich, which Gary thankfully declined in an appreciative manner. I say it seems interesting in hindsight now because I'm wondering if it could be read in a different way now than at the time. In that it may have been Lauren making a sarcastic point against Dee, not Gary, without Dee realising it.

Lauren to me came out and heard the boos heard the negative s for James and heard the positives for gary and she switched sides in the process of trying to make her out to be the nice one -- it was so obvious what she was up to

I don't believe that for a second. I just saw the episode where she and Ricci argue about his treatment of Gary and that happened BEFORE the eviction.

Lauren really turned me around on her near the end, and I think part of that is that maybe Big Brother was holding back a lot of footage from earlier shows that might have shown her in a better light.
What name??

She did. She told Ricci off for being aggressive to him and kept him company after his argument with Dee.
