It wasn't a really bad episode, but I just don't see why the whole episode pretty much consisted of Stan's party? With stacey back and bianca leaving tomorrow, I'd of liked to see more of them! Monday and Tuesday were great episodes! I hope tomorrow is aswell! Anyone else annoyed that yet a whole episode was based around another carter party?

I know I realised as it ended it had just been the carters and the mitchells. but the mitchells were just tying into shirley. I think its bizarre that Bianca leaves tomorrow but was not featured. maybe it would of been better for bianca to leave tonight and then stans birthday tomorrow. just think it would have flowed better

still a really good ep tho. thought Danny was on form as mick, nancy and linda were good and liked the stan/cora v babe stuff

I thought it was a great episode. Full of snappy dialogue and believable interactions between characters that brought up new perspectives on the family as a whole. It just seems that some people are determined not to like episodes that heavily feature the Carters.

Yeah I did quite like it, just not how that's what the episode was pretty much based on

maybe you have something there. lots of storylines bubbling away in the background that will be prominent in the next few weeks.

what im wondering is have tosh and dean had it away yet as tosh has a bun in the oven and I thought it would be deans

It's because they've only been in the show for about 9 months, they've had so many episodes centred around of them, and they haven't even been about big storylines, now after Linda's rape, THAT'S when they should be doing episodes that heavily feature them, not birthday parties.

then everyone would be complaining there is no build up. I think to have a succesful aftermath on all the stories that were featuring there has to be build up and good family relations to text and break which will happen. if u dont see them getting on its harder to believe the fall out.

Agreed it was a great episode.

Comedy and drama in equal measures.

Cora, Stan & Babe were stand out tonight.

I enjoyed it. It was the happy event before they're ripped apart. A soap tradition as old as the hills.

It was a great episode tonight too but as somebody else has already posted, Bianca should have left tonight and Stan's party tomorrow.

I loved the ep tonight, a lovely family party, shame that Cora was the only turn though, she was good but we could have had a Lady Gaga, a Madonna, a Kylie on the bill.

Dish-gate was very dark - I like that edge the Carters have.....we should probably enjoy their fun and laughter as it won't last

I loved when Babe asked Cora if she could help her.

Cora looked at her like trash and just said 'I doubt it'

Great!

brilliant scenes and dialogue with Cora and Babe.
Cora and Stan go absolutely perfectly together, much much better than Cora and Patrick who I didn't think gelled at all.
I loved all the carter stuff, apart from the Nancy scenes. I'm not sure what age she's meant to be playing??

Not sure what meaning there was about the fish gutting??

And although I'm a Mick Carter fan, I thought the speech was silly and unnecessary.

And the only one who really made me cringe was Tosh as I can't stand her.

The writers have obviously forgotten she was meant to be a right nasty piece of work, and now she's nothing but sweetness and light! How come....
