Regarding Food Banks.....I am a Charity Worker and food banks are not just for poor and lower paid workers. My day centre is for all types of people and we have a food bank deliver food every week......it is because the supermarkets have a huge amount of food over that would go to waste.

It's not thick not to know who the prime minister of a country you don't live in is. Do you know who are the leaders of France, Germany, Spain or Portugal? I don't because I'm ignorant of those particular facts. Doesn't mean I'm thick or stupid,, just not interested.

But it is interesting that Dee's sarcasm is missed by many on this forum - people are keen to put it down to ignorance, but the gap in Gary's knowledge is totally excusable. Such are the advantages of being the forum fave.

She was claiming that Gary asked if we had electricity or televisions in this country (he could have been joking for all we know) and then made her (sarcastic) comment about us being a third world country.

Did people actually miss that or just looking for an excuse to slag her off? There are plenty of things to slag her off for without making up nonsense
