Dee did not apologise specifically. She said about 10 sorrys and he asked her what for. She couldn't answer because she had not thought about that, only she had been told to do it by bb to 'look like the bigger person'. (Which she repeats a lot)

Still I can't wait till she's picked up on the lying she kicked up a fuss about where Gary didn't say the things she'd accused him of, and she went flying off the handle like she'd been told she hadn't done enough over the last 2 weeks to get her cheque...

Gary too is master of the non-specific apology, and 'I didn't mean to offend'. I believe he is genuinely sorry but seldom knows how he has offended, which is why I doubt he apologised specifially about telling her to move.

She'll probably think her actions are totally justified.

I know but I was answering the OP's stance that she lied 3 times. One of those lies was her saying Gary didn't apologise.

Someone of Dee's intellectual level won't know what a polygraph is - now if she had heard lie detector that would be a different story. Horrible woman!

She also took Audley"s nomination personaly when she accused Gary of this and said she doesn't take them personaly.

And she lied a few weeks ago saying that Gary cornerd her which he didn't.

I don't think it will do her much good if she doesn't change though, the Media are quite good at picking on Zelebs who lie.

This is the only time I have and probably will stick up for Dee, and it's a pretty big reverse compliment - I honestly don't think she's "lying". She's just so thick that she's unable to recall dialogue that happened even minutes ago. She did the same thing with Gary a few days ago which caused the argument.

So why be so adamant about it to the point of causing a massive row?

Never mind the lie detector with her - just go straight to "You're nicked".

I only meant that her initial motive for the comments was lack of brain capacity/memory (rather than lying). The proceeding refusal to consider any possibility that she was wrong is a separate matter and one of her countless flaws.

This. There's a huge difference between a lie, where you willfully know you're telling an untruth, and one's own perspective or subjective truth, whether it seems warped to us from the outside or not.

Re. Gary insulting the GBP..I don't know what she's heard him say either. But then I haven't seen him barging people out of the way either and I don't doubt that's happened. She might be telling the truth from her (possibly warped) perspective.

And ok, she wasn't privvy to him saying he loved the GBP in the diary room, which might have changed her interpretation of whatever he's said that was insulting. But it still doesn't make her a liar.

Dee has had a regular habit of lying in the show.

Very disappointed, I liked Dee a lot, and still don't think her past should be brought into matters, however I can not abide a liar.

Insecure people do it, liars do it, cheats do it (it's common knowledge that a cheat will often accuse their partner of cheating), and nasty, vicious arrogant people do it too.

James also kept reinforcing Dee's claim that Gary was rude to the British public. James is so desperate to win.
