I did not hear it the same way. I really do think that he meant that he had already won, as in he has made it this far.

I think he meant it as an 'We're all winners for being here' type comment...
But they showed it knowing people would take it as you have

He is a cocky ****. He knows he's already won and he just wanted to rub it in with the others.

I feel like he meant it in the way as in he "feels"like the winner, because he's been through so much and made it through the other side. Nothing "cocky" keep voting.

Yes and against all the shit he has had to put up with. And for his charity for his son illness too.

Exactly. It's down to the home straights now and his detractors are clutching at straws.

He said at the beginning they were all winners for just being there, Frenchy said the same thing.

I interpreted that as him getting to the final.
He said something similar about that earlier in the day.

As I explained in another thread. Gary said a while back he was a winner in spirit. When he leaves the BB house he will always be there in spirit.

HONK!

Not to fall into the "Gary can do no wrong" camp but I believe he's being his spiritual self instead of being cocky. Either that or he's just cutting through the modesty BS and going on what he's perceiving. He's saved first every week, mostly cheers from the crowd, he's saying what many past winners (or potential winners) only thought.

Gary would be an awful winner. He wouldn't even hold an interview with Emma.
[Emma you may need to be reduely interrupted by him during the exit interview].
JAMES TO WIN!

But he hasn't already won...and he didn't mean it that way.

Gary said a week or 2 back in the bedroom that he already felt like a winner being on UK CBB. I think some people are taking it the wrong way but hey it's Gary and as Edele said in the pool talking to Lauren 'Gary is an easy target..

Did you not hear him a while back saying in his spirit he was already a winner and when he left the BB house his spirit would always be there.

That is what he was referring to.

It's all in the continuity ruffle, if you missed what he said a while ago then you may have got the wrong end of the stick. Which I think you have.

I despair if anyone genuinely thinks Gary is the type of person to say that he has won it already.Ridiculous lack of judgement.

People are just looking for any reason now to have a pop - just like his fellow housemates
