These EastEnders cliffhangers are getting tedious
There's no excitement or build-up anymore. Where was Kat & Alfie also? If the fire storyline is starting next week, surely there should be some sort of build-up to that? A lovely episode with the Carters anyways. But there's a lot of characters we aren't seeing much of lately.
Also, how come one moment Phil was on the phone to Ben, and then the next scene he was in, we heard nothing of it? Plot error? |

I was glad that I had the day off of watching Alfie act the fool.
Anyways the fire story started last week at the Carter's BBQ when Tosh told him about it. The idea has been planted and we've seen Alfie run around beg for money and lie to Kat. So yeah the build up has been done. |

I've really loved this week's episodes. So far anyway, and I can't wait for tomorrow's.

How did the call go? Did Ben talk to him? Did he put the phone down on him? etc. |

As for the phone call, it's because the writers don't want us to know what happened yet. Also Phil no longer trusts Sharon, and she's the only one we saw him with after he made the phone call, he's hardly going to tell her all about it, is he? I really hate it when writers spell every single thing out for viewers, which is why I'm glad EE haven't really been doing that lately, but I'm starting to think it might be necessary.

The duff duffs are a lot better than what they were.
Remember that time it Duff Duffed on the reveal that Sam bought Dexters car. What the hell was that about. |
