I wouldn't choose to live on any of them based on how they are in the BB house, but obviously nobody lives in a BB house for the rest of their lives with a bunch of strangers they aren't normally living with. I imagine none of them are behaving as they would within the privacy of their homes with the people who love, know and understand them.

I wonder what I'd be like in the BB house. Probably not a lot like I am in my own home.

RUDE.. James Mr. Rudey Jordan....how very dare you. Even the thought of it...well,,,

if he heard that he would self combust with righteous indignation
(deluded tool that he is)
It's ironic isn't it, that the rudest individual in there is James ego maniac deluded Jordan? He thinks he is so superior to everyone, but he's such a nasty little twerp.

It's his attitude that often makes me laugh though, although I doubt he realises how amusing he is (not always in a good way ). At least he's been in the game, not on the sidelines (which is where I believe Audley has been, for the most part).

I think he'd be great to live with, rather live with James than Gary
God, me too--though he's very like my Mother. The problem would be Going OUT to restaurants, etc where he'd be likely to display his testosterone by insulting the waiters or demanding the Chef/Manager appear and 'explain' themselves. James'd be 'always in the right, always in the right', but he WOULD challenge anyone who looked at his Bird, which'd be refreshingly 1970's Caring at least. In the home, James'd be.....well, let's say in the BB House, James has been the true Godsend keeping the show going.

Very true.

James always talks about his family with love and respect. Of course they love him too and Ola said in her letter that he is the kindest man she ever knew. I know she was canvassing but she didn't have to use the word 'kind' - it's not really something we've seen from him but that's the word she chose.

Also, all his previous dance partners from Strictly speak well of his character - even Vanessa who I know doesn't mince her words.

I think James is really playing up the outspoken part of his personality - and it's not difficult as there are, and have been HMs in there who would try anyone's patience. He is without a job at the moment and I think he is trying to develope a 'love to hate' persona - he is eloquent, pretty unflappable, intelligent and opinionated and I think he is doing his best to show this off with a view to future work.

He is always 'on' - he never relaxes, he's always loud and he's pretty much always camera-aware and performing. I'm sure he relaxes at home and is fine to be around.
Ah Menk, what a sensible post. It won't go down well on here but good to read a bit of objective thinking nevertheless.

I think some forget 10 out of 14 HMs nominated Gary at some point and the reason was usually his behaviour in the house.
You really do have to look at noms to see who is difficult to live with - that is exactly what noms mean!

James does have his favourites and his enemies though - imagine, he said that Rikki was the nicest person he'd ever met! If James has chosen you as a friend then he is a breeze to live with, but otherwise he is a nightmare.

I agree about his attitude, he's such a deluded twerp. As for Audley, I do believe he would have been more in the picture if it wasn't for the likes of Jordan, whith his overbearing attention seeking. I would imagine it is difficult to make yourself seen or heard with someone so in your face all the time?

On other threads I think it's well-established that James DOESN'T really think he's superior to Anyone, hence his manufactured bravado/egomania/testosterone surge. I mean anyone who--even in a house full of 24/7 cameras--goes up to a World Class Massive Boxer and squeaks--with his dancing feet--'I'm not afraid of You' has got to be applauded for his blind bravery, though I'd LOVE to know just how Many Punches in the Face James has got out in the real world. I'll add AGAIN how much I loathed him on SCD but if I were stuck in that House, he'd be my Best Friend for his perspicacity and wry humour alone. NOT a Winner, but one of the Best CBB HM's ever IMO.

My OH who has met him (admittedly just the once) says he is very charismatic and charming. She is easily pleased though otherwise she wouldn't be my OH.

bib - true, but that's the game isn't it, to be the one who gets noticed, gets the airtime; they've been paid to entertain, earn it

Poor Ola. If that's the kindest man she has ever known she has to have dated some utter bastards. I kind of pity her for having her back door smashed in regularly too.

On the basis of nominations by those who actually had to live with them it was Gary and Frenchy who were a nightmare to live with.

I think a few of the housemates have been intimidated by James behavior which would stop them voting for him , James the nutjob even bullied Audley
If Brad shit found out you nominated him he would make life difficult
