Perhaps they should have made a bigger deal of it ...

Doesn't seem logical to me - but who cares - don't vote, donate your voting money to charity for Gary?

No , people can do whatever they want is the correct answer here.

In a very very limited sense I would agree that, if not your former assertion.

These probably aren't the most impacting and memorable moments in the series but they meant something to me, and they impacted and were memorable to my personal observing experience.

Gary, i'd agree has contributed the most entertainment to the series.... for me there's a balance to where it's not all about entertainment but that's why i'd have no issue with Gary winning either.”

I take all your points on baord and good luck for this evening.....I think we both agree as long as Dee or James doesn't win it will be a good result

Winning will give his charity the most publicity. He established this charity because of his sick son.

PS. Remember when gary said to describe his experience in word and he said FREEDOM. it was because FREEDOM is his charity motto

and yes, Dee rolled her eyes when she heard him say it.”

Can you please direct me to where he said he's giving his fee to the charity. I can't seem to find a mention of it on either of those links. Thanks.

We've been covering this elsewhere this afternoon:
http://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/celebrity-big-brother confirms the prize fund goes to charity, but we can't find a ref for which charity he's chosen.
Seeing as it's his charity, I'd assume that's where the prize fund goes, but people may have got this muddled with his fee.
Bearing in mind he may still owe the IRS from his bankruptcy, perhaps he can't just put his fee in. Dunno

James thinks he is "very good looking"
So much so he said it twice..

.if he wasn't married......i'd be thinking he fancied him.

Yes. She tweeted about it probably because everyone's been asking.

Thanks, DtS, but that wasn't the question I asked. I just wanted to read where Gary or his wife mentions it. Not because I'm doubting it, just because I'm interested to see what it was s/he said.

(still voting for GB anyway, but I'm a little suspicious about this story & it's timing)”

If you go on buseyfoundation.com and scroll to the face book link and look for where it says GARY CONTINUES TO PLAY FOR THE BUSEY FOUNDATION which is for the USA apprentice dated march 2013 BUT YOU WILL SEE A COMMENT

Sam Hurst What an amazing man. He is going through hell in there and he doesn't even get the money. True celeb .

Respectfully, a comment from a random person on a facebook link is not evidence that Gary is donating his fee to his foundation. Again, I'm not doubting that he is doing this, I just haven't seen anything to confirm it.

It doesn't matter if he is or isn't - it makes him no less or more a worthy winner, and it's lovely that his foundation is getting lots of new attention - I just like facts.

I'm also a little perplexed about this alleged prize money that apparently is going to the winner's charity. That would imply that all the the HM's have a nominated cause in the event that they win. Surely family/supporters/the nominated charities of the other HMs would be publicising this and rooting for their cause if there was a prize fund on offer? Why are we not hearing about their causes, only Gary's?

Can anyone recall if a previous Ch.5 CBB had a prize fund or any post-CBB publicity about which charity it benefitted?

I think we've probably established there is a prize fund and it is going to charity.
As to the rest .. let's hope all is revealed.

I hope so. The charity angle is really nice and if true, it'd be good to see the winner's one get some publicity on the show itself.

It says the winners prize fund. Only one problem with that... There is no winners prize fund. . The winner of BBUK gets a money prize for winning. CBB has no money prize for the winner.

It is rather strange. But it's also just like those questions they asked contestants.. Like the one about which way a Roosters egg would roll.
