No it's not Gary this time it's Dee. Just realised why she brings Gary cups of tea and talks to him like he's stupid one minute and shouts at him the next. I'll bet she did her CSO in a care home cos those are the people she stole from. Makes sense now. She is bitter, ashamed, angry at her punishment but let's face it would prison have been better. Not sure really, could have brought more of the nasty out of her.
I've been saying all along she could work in a care home with her attitude, cos that's how some of em behave, as is well publicised and from my own experience.

Maybe it's the way I was brought up, but I could never have respect for a thief. Dee stole £13,000 from her employer - Birmingham City Council. She took money from the safe and manipulated the paperwork in order to cover her tracks. Some of the money was petty cash. Some of it was cash that had been given to social workers by their vulnerable clients for safekeeping.

Think about it. Vulnerable people gave money to their social workers for safekeeping. The social workers put the cash in envelopes that were placed in the safe. Dee, in a position of trust, stole those envelopes, and doctored the paperwork to cover her tracks. She said in court that she stole the money to feed her boyfriend's crack habit.

The mother of the house? The heartless parasite of the house more like! And, she looks set to come in third or fourth in the final. What does this tell you about the great British Public?

She's a bloody disgrace so she'll win I presume

It tells me they don't give a fig what's she's done. That you can be greedy in every sense of the word. Act self riteous to those who you have no business to. And get paid on top for your dishonesty and idle ways.
Plus do the Hmts know she has a record for stealing from the vulnerable public. If not they will find out pretty quick I hope. Wonder how baby rikki will act then. And condemning James.

That was hushed up. I didn't know Dee had a criminal record. She shouldn't have been allowed in the house, period. Just how low will they sink as to who they let take part in the show.

Sounds like she would fit right in being chased by Gary around the back woods of america whilst shouting

She would not have been allowed to work in a care home with a record of any nature so that one is rubbish!

Of course she would. Only she would have to declare her conviction and assessed whether a danger to vulnerable adults. Rehabilitation of offenders act only certain offences preclude someone from that kind of job.

Dee doing community service in a care home would be like putting a mouse in charge of a cheese larder. Stealing from vulnerable people is hardly the best qualification for working with them.

Could very well be that Jenny, you're right she has that horrid patronizing and condescending attitude so it wouldn't surprise me.

Typical example of a thief who stole from the vulnerable for one of the worst excuses imaginable, and then refuses to accept what she did and ends up bitter and twisted, possibly aiming it at the an example of the ones she stole from in the first place. Horrible under class woman who will NEVER learn and believe her way is right.

That's exactly how I feel. And I can't understand these people who say 'her past is her past and we should move on from judging her'.

Errr...NOT when she puts herself up as some loving person who CARES about everybody and is set to profit by this lie, as her past has shown this isn't what she's like at all. . I wouldn't care if she went about her life in a quiet way. What I don't approve off is people lauding her and putting her up on a pedestal as the advocate for the 'poor and needy', when it was the 'poor and needy' she stole from and therefore betrayed by going into the safe and stealing their money they gave to social workers for safe keeping. I mean it was thousands. She just kept going back and taking more.

She wouldn't get a job in a Care Home if she applied because of her past yet she's going to be talking on a political programme soon about the needs of the 'poor and needy'. What the 'poor and needy' really need is for people like Dee not to profit from them, steal from them or have control over them. To have someone like her advocating 'in their name' is an insult, because she'd probably still be stealing from them if she hadn't been caught .

I also criticise the people who have lifted her into 'celebrity status' because I don't believe she's worthy of it.

In many respects you're quite right with the whole post (which I've snipped). But then how do we balance that with the sensible idea that criminals should be rehabilitated, otherwise they're just bunged on the social scrapheap.
