Did James ever thank Audley for giving him his letter?

Audley chose James to receive the letter and James didn't appreciate that it was Audley's kindness that got him the letter. What a nasty and bitter man James is, I feel so sorry for Ola.

James is too old to stir things in the house, the younger ones behaved better than him.

Just because we haven't seen James thank Audley, or Audley thank Gary, doesn't mean it didn't happen. In James' case in particular, it doesn't seem to be part of BB's remit to show him in too positive a light. Perhaps their thanks just didn't make the edit.

James's letter reeked of his own self importance.

He's been banging the 'I'm honest, I tell it how it is' drum ever since he entered the house and his letter pretty much said the same thing.
