I have notice many times Audley has hung around when the likes of James/Dee/ are having a go at Gary. He is there in the background just hovering around just in case he needs to support Gary. He has shown compassion to Gary and kindness to others, if that was enough for him to win, he would win, but I know its about entertainment of another kind and George will probably win.

I've noticed that too. A thoroughly lovely and respectful man. Really hope he does well.

I respect Audley massively.
He's been so good watching over Gary and supporting him when all around have been gunning for him.

....and James has the cheek to suggest he's doing it AFTER he heard the cheers for Gary.

If your in the house you hear yourself being jeered/booed and people chanting to get you out and then in turn the main person you were targeting was getting loud cheers and saved near the top every time that privelige has been announced...Wouldn't it at least cause someone ANYONE in BB History to go "Right I don't like this person, I have issues with them but they are getting cheered and im not. Clearly people are seeing something im not here...why is this the case?"

Im not saying they should back down and change 100% and start sucking up to them but come on a little humility could save you a lot of aggrovation in the long run.

I just want one of these villains to show some humility......and common sense

He also stuck up for Lauren when Dee and her gang decided to have a go at her.

I've noticed him sticking up for Gary - and I loved it when there was an argument in the garden (I think it was Gary & Dee) and he tried to lighten the mood with some jokey remarks. He's lovely, his wife & family must be so proud of him.

Also like the way Audley corrected James when he said everyone in the house has had a problem with Gary. Audley informed James that he had more problems with him than Gary.

I've noticed this too.

In the whole of the series, the only Hms to never nominate Gary has been Frenchy, Claire and Audley. Clarie only had one round of noms though. So Audley is the only one in there that has had his back.

Also it's obvious that Gary recognises this too that Audley has been nice too, his speech last night during the last supper were complimentary to everyone, but his one to Audley was the most so.

Also, Audley said it, he had more problems with James than he has with Gary.

Its too much to be real though. Gary is a very rude and inconsiderate person which is his personality not age or brain damage. Audley must see that yet chooses to be Gary's minder. Has his head too far up Gary's arse for me to believe its genuine.

Is there only Audley love because of how he is with Gary? I like Audley for his gentle nature and have done since the beginning, nothing to do with Gary at all. If Audley was to disagree with Gary would he be dropped from favour & become 'vile' 'disgusting' 'bully'?

Doesn't matter how nice a person you are, Gary has been a pig in that house and any normal person would have had at the minimum a tiff with him by now.

I don't have a problem with Audley watching out for Gary but I think his role is slightly exaggerated. In the first two weeks all we saw of Audley was him in the garden with David deciding who was the fittest (until he left) and sitting with Kellie when he wasn't in the kitchen. I don't recall any real evidence of Audley spending any great time with Gary until after Kellie left.

Audley knows all Garys faults and yet despite them he chooses to act towards him the same he would want someone to act towards his own father. I would rather be thought of as a mug who is being taken advantage of than an ignorant person who is lacking in patience and empathy.

Me too Audley has been generally a very nice guy from the start, and when faced with opposition e.g the nasties he remained civil without rising to their jibes particularly from James. He has shown kindness to James e.g the letter task. And I remember when he tried to explain to Gary about the hand gesturing in people faces and why the hm's find it rude, and Gary was dismissive and said "that's me, not changing, not moving from my ground" something like that. And Audley wasn't put off. He remains the same calm nature with Gary and everyone else in the house. He isn't easily provoked. He doesn't need to win CBB for me he is already my winner

but there's the crux of the matter - there are "tiffs" and there is "outright targeting" - the latter of which Gary has been on the receiving end of.

Gary is the runt of the litter.
Audley is lovely.

I agree totally, what a lovely man Audley is. Head and shoulders above James .I hope he wins, and wipes that smirk off "the Brad Pitt of dance".

I want Audley to win too, my favourite was gary but the lovely Audley has stolen my heart.If Dee wins i'll never watch CBB ever again

He's done it with a perfect light touch - allowing Gary his dignity - only stepping in when really needed eg. when James told Gary all the HMs complained about him "We can't all be wrong"... and Audley firmly told James not to include him in that gang. (James scuttled off).

At first I misread the title as 'Audley -the protractor' as in the instrument for measuring angles

In what way is Gary rude and inconsiderate . I see the only time him being loud or annoyed is when the four hyenas rounding on him.the only ones I can see being rude ,obnoxious,egotistic and hypocritical are Dee,James,Edele and George. For there age there an absolute disgrace.
