Why has she now changed tack and said this from earlier in the week when she said will be.

Her "friend" the producer also gone yesterday it seems, is she worried about herself or the show in general.

All a bit mysterious

Channel 5 has just been bought, so depends if the new owners want CBB or not.

Yep, it's all up to Viacom now!

Viacom take over Channel 5 on the 10th and Big Brothers Executive Producer leaves on the 11th. I think Viacom are going have a big shake up and hopefully we will get back a decent show again. The editing since it went to channel 5 and lack of live feed has ruined a good show. The channel is contracted to have Big Brother until next year so perhaps they will get new decent presenters who are unbiased in their comments and interviews.

It doesn't need new presenters Janet Hatfield.

It does however require a live feed.

Thank you.

Yes and hopefully we will get rid of Emma and the likes who are that gender biased that they think the likes of George is just a single young cheeky chap when he jumps from cuddling up to one girl to the next, but if a female does that they get all moralistic and dam the female to hell..
I for one hope Emma is let go and the jokey format of the show is done away with in favour of more considered balanced discussion in front of an informed audience.

Nothing wrong with Emma or Rylan, I agree. These two presenters are fine. Whoever presents certain people will not like them, it's always the same. On the whole I think Emma does a great job!

I would hate for them to bring in presenters who know nothing about previous series, nothing about Big Brother, Emma, at least, loves the show. Rylan may not be the best presenter in the world, but he also seems to love it, and has surprised me occasionally with his knowledge of BB from earlier years.

Let's face it, BOTS isn't to be taken too seriously - they spend very little time really discussing the show (each nominated housemate gets, what, 30-50 seconds of discussion, really?), they have stupid little pointless sections to it, it was never meant as a serious discussion about BB.

The amount of jokeyness on BBOTS now is alarmingly different from BBLB,I was never its biggest fan but re watching back a few eps on the old series links I was struck at the differerence and would welcome that more discussion based show back...im aware BBOTS is more in the spirit of BBBM but that had the advantage of a very impartial host who made sure to get a balanced view from the audience whilst still being funny.

As you said, BOTS was supposed to be a follow up for BBBM and not BBLB. They tried to rehash a type of BBLB show last year with Rylan's show on Sunday but it flopped.

George & Stephanie were just friends! He may have more serious intentions with Edele though. He is not devious and I don't think Emma had him wrong. He is probably the most likeable HM in there!

"Until next year" might in reality mean the end of this year? Anyone know for sure on this?

Yes,but in the past we had both which catered to both wants,..by giving us just the one option which we are forced to watch or watch nothing doesn't justify that one version.. If that Sunday format would have been our only option that would have been watched as much as the current 'only option.'.

Earlier this summer she was talking about folks auditioning for next year's civilian show, as if it was a done deal.

Girls have been just friends with people and been slagged off on shows like BBOTS because there was a slight hint of cuddling with sometimes just that one person,if she dared do it with more than one it was 'sure signs' that she was leading people on or playing games and teasing people...Emma was all up for telling us how much George was into Steph then when he moves on he's a cheeky chap, mark my words if a girl did that Emma wouldn't be calling her cheeky..we'd have an inquest into what she was up to..I think things like what George is doing are just a bit of fun (if some gameplaying) but I'd like to see that ability to have fun extend to the female hms.

At the end of BBOTS Emma said the producer who is also her friend has left the show she said his name and so I looked for it on the credits, and he was the Executive Producer.

is that the exec producer of BOTS or BB?
either way it does seem a little odd straight after the takeover

Viacom owns MTV. I assume they will make Big Brother more like Geordie Shore.

Everyone knows my views on a live feed. But in all honesty I wouldn't care now if the show ends what should have been its revival was turned into some mutated TOWIE clone because the previous owner of Channel 5 wanted the format but not willing on putting the money into the show it really needed.

Its seeing voting reach all time lows
trust between producers and fans all but shattered
its become so obsessed with conflict and verbal arguments huge portions that made the show so unique have been lost as its now considered "boring".

there is so little left of what made BB popular now

i would rather see a rest from CBB in January and more time and commitment put into bringing back BB to a 'reality' show that it once was

Agree

Where does all this 'we must cause aggro and conflict' come from?. Why do the producers think we like it. I'm sick of bullies like Dee and James on my screen- and yes they are Bullies imo.
