Really sad to hear the news, Jim was an EE legend and he and Dot were a lovely old couple and I loved his friendship with Patrick as well!

A great award winning character actor who had a long career.

I fondly remember him in Rumpole of the Bailey where he often appeared as head of the Timson family, Rumpole's best clients.

John Bardon was a wonderful character actor. He never fully recovered from his stroke in 2007. I'm sure it is a blessed relief for him.

RIP John Bardon and my condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
