Looks like Dee is going to be on tv for a while even if she doesn't win.

It also stops vigorous plumping of sofa cushions LOL!

I'm not sure.

People might see it as a release but projection is actually strengthening emotion.

I think everybody has the same approach re BB/CBB We know it's a reality show and discuss hms whilst it's on then as you say get on with our lives when it ends.

However some hms may pop up on tv after the show depending on opportunitys that come their way due to their behaviour in the show ... which is expected.

Personally I don't think someone who has behaved as Dee has should be speaking at Party Political Conferences as a so called representative and expert on Benefits and those that recieve them or programmes to that affect either.

Thankfully I have a choice not to watch anything else she does. I'm just confused as to the type of people that are being accepted as role models these days it makes no sense to me.

As kind and thoughtful as ever.

Btw. I agree with BlueStreak - very stylish glasses.

I understand how you and others can feel like this.

For me I basically believe that everyone's 'life contract' is between themselves and their kismet. I don't know anyone's full story through a few snippets of a heavily edited and manipulated zany show.

Furthermore, Dee getting such opportunities has the potential to improve some of her negative behaviour patterns that we saw on the show. This in turn could have a positive ripple effect for those in her life etc.

In terms of role models, I'm guided by the old saying: 'each to their own.'

Good luck to her. At least I'll never have to see or hear her again after CBB.

Yes, that would work for me, but no need, the more exposure she has on tv, the more her deeply unpleasant personality will be evident, thus allowing the public to remember her disgusting crime of stealing from the poor, only stopping because she was caught. Furthermore her repellent and appalling behaviour in the house has not endeared me to her either. Her shot at redemption has well & truly been wasted, imo of course.

Mind boggling what passes for celebrity today.

Cooking and then in her wisdom highlighting how you can live without benefits ... just as you did eh Dee pffft

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/t...onference.html

Apparently she will be attending and she's 47 according to this article. So as she has said several times that she is 43 the rest of it could also be wrong. But then Dee spoke about it on the HLS so perhaps it is.
Crazy world we live ... the people that are lauded as celebs and now she's an expert on Benefits too. Bizarre.”

That will be channel 5 and I only watch BB on channel 5 so I won't see her.

A very positive way to be too . I don't wish her harm just as I said I think some odd people are being chosen and accepted as role models these days.

Hopefully these opportunities will have positives for her family and she may change but when you are rewarded for such behaviour then I doubt it will change but who knows. Time and experience can and often changes us all in some way

Would work for me.

I don't give a shit what 'sentence' she's served, she's still a thief.

Calculated and planned over 7 years. Stealing cash from envelpoes belonging to the vulnerable is a low as you can get...The last place she should be is appearing on RTV and getting a hefty sum for doing so.

No, that's what you've read in for reasons of your own. She hasn't been like that at all and most of other HMs like her.

Exactly. Vindictive nastiness and some accuse her of bitterness!

Is she bitter? Have'nt noticed, must have missed it with all the bitchiness, bile spewing and finger waving she does to Gary.

Anyhow, regarding vindictive nastiness, Ms. Kelly has the monopoly on that corrosive emotion, displayed on a daily basis in the house.

Unlike Dee Kelly or White Dee I have a conscience and a moral compass that would preclude me from stealing from the poor. I make no apologises for finding her and her crimes reprehensible. Most folk I believe would concur.

I also wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt (so to speak) but the more I saw her, the more I disliked her. I can't stand her loud, repulsive eating (whilst whining about other people's 'manners'). I can't stand the way she has her 'babbies' (easily manipulated HMs she 'adopts' and babies for the attention it gets her and also, an emotional blanket to hide behind, like her weight issues, I suspect). Also I can't imagine she is mother of the year IRL, somehow - would be a kinder person if she was. So why have this fake veneer of motherliness? I can't stand her endless screaming and loudness. And the hypocrisy of her sanctimoniousness when we know what we know about her. I never watched her programme as I was disgusted with that channel for even making it. So had no opinion on her til I saw her. Total lowlife.

There are so many credible people who can talk cogently about life on benefits, etc. There is hopefully no niche for her on TV. She isn't very intelligent, and so I can hardly see her on Question Time. Bake Off? She looks like she scoffs it rather than makes it. Where else, really? Hope never to see her again on TV.

If it's vindictively nasty to thoroughly dislike someone that stole from those even worse off than themselves, then yes, I'm quite happy to be called vindictively nasty, The woman is the lowest of the low, and she's been awful on CBB too.

I think we'll need quite a big sofa Sas. There are an awful lot of vindictively nasty folk around. Me being one too.

Budge up.

And the knife waving .. getting in Garys face .. name calling .. threats of violence ....shouting ... mocking ... quite the list for MammaDee and opposite to the caring kind honest persona she keeps claiming to be.

Lots of women don't tell the truth about their age (coughs quietly) and she could easily really be 47 and not 43.

What sort of sentencing is this anyway - *She received a suspended sentence and was ordered to carry out 220 hours’ unpaid work, and was sacked as a result of the ‘mean-spirited and calculated’ theft.*
