It has plenty of times,just google it. She stole £13000 from innocent people who trusted tge council with there money. Dee was working for them at the time. Even her closest friend on the street Black Dee can't stand her now,stating she has turned her back on them. She is poison and a liar.

I didn't realise it was such an extended period..

I would have understood the theft better if it had been a desperate one-off, to pay off huge debts or keep from losing her home or some-such - baring in mind she has kids to think of.

But over seven years, she did have time to sort her life, get the addict bf out of it so she could take better care of her children, and get herself onto the straight and narrow.

Maybe the theft was simply too easy to conceal and too convenient? Plus if she was fiddling the paperwork, the vulnerable clients would be the only ones who would have known that they were losing out. And who's going to believe someone with a mental illness or who's a bit addled, when the paperwork all seems legit?

I suspect Dee must have gotten away with it for so long, because the people she was stealing from, were easy targets, possibly easy to lie to, and easily ignored when they did complain. So much for being the great 'caring mamma.'
