It's not a fix if that means being sure of getting the result, but they generally start on launch night.

What would constitute a "fixed result"?

Is it by chance, anyone but Gary?

Now that I've thought a bit further, though, I think they start sooner that that, for instance with the HMs they pick. It wasn't by chance that Linda Nolan was picked for the same series as Jim Davidson, for example.

Well I'm sure they will ask their tech department to disable any app votes for Gary like they did to Ashleigh on her final night, so James or Dee win it.

Whoever gets a nice chunk of well edited shiny footage in the opening segment is the one to put a bet on quickly.

They started that a couple of days ago.

They start "fixing it" during the casting process.

Seems clear to me that Gary was the planned winner. They never even tried to give any of the other housemates a storyline or a reason for anyone to vote for them. Seems very similar to the last celebrity series- add one contentious housemate , a few people who are likely to get really wound up by them and add some also rans who will never be given any airtime.

If some other randomer wins, it won't be because of the producers!

Emma will announce a twist around 10.30, a live link will be set up to Ibiza, and Helen will be announced the winner again.

Unless it's Dee or George.

Dee is the more likely. BB seems to love a "redemption" story these days (Jim, Helen -- Dee would make it a hat trick).

Gary, on the other hand, seems to be someone they use for entertainment value but also help build up negative perceptions of that HM so they don't win.

If Gary wins, then imo it won't be because BB wanted him to, but as an unintended consequence of his entertainment value.

Oh dear - not much chance of that. From the shambles that was BOTS, looks like most of them probably packed up last night and went off to the pub to celebrate their redundancies
