Big Brother Australia

So, I have just finished watching Big Brother Aus 2013 and i absolutely loved it! Loved the fact that

Tim
won, even though i would have preferred
Spoiler
a Tahan or Drew win, I was happy that someone who knew how to play the game, and played it well was given recognition for that.

Has anyone else on the forum watched last years series? What were your thoughts on it?

And if anyone hasnt I highly recommend that they do. It really puts our series to shame, and this was noticeable when I was much more highly addicted to BBaus than I was with our recent summer edition, and have had no interest whatsoever in the current celeb edition (although I most likely will be watching the final just out of curiosity).

Most importantly, has anyone started watching this years BBaus yet, I know it started on the 8th, but having only just finished the 2013 series, I haven't got round to watching, so no spoilers if anyone has watched it. But I was just wondering what the early impressions of this years series is, and if it looks like it could shape up to be as good as the last???

I have watched 4 episodes this year but I have not watched last year .
No spoilers but I want to live in the house.
I am very impressed
Yes it is certainly worth watching and the decisions started from day 1.
Enjoy 12 weeks to fill gap until Viacom decides bb fate.

I read here how good last years was so watched all 101 days worth in less than 3 weeks. Totally addicted! And had the same opinion as you about the result. Have watched the first 2 episodes of this years and the house is amazing! I think some of this years housemates seem very similar and I'm getting them mixed up but it will probably improve as I watch it.

Yes!! I watched the last two years. It is like BBUK used to be.

BB actually enforces rules
BB is funny
High Production $$, resulting in amazing house
Creative tasks
Allows show to unfold naturally (not playing DR and private conversations back)
Very little outside information
Creative nomination process
Non chavy, interesting HMs
Positive crowd on eviction night
No live feed

I watched 2012, and part way through 2013, I like the fact that BB is one voice, makes it more interesting
I absolutely love Surly the fish and both times a dog is a HM,
