That made me LOL. Thanks for that

I think James tried to deal with it and tried the most out of everyone in the house and then to find Gary came first and you're the "villain" despite how much effort you put in is obviously not very nice and even I'd struggle to contain myself at that point.

My point is, give him some slack, it's easy to judge someone from your couch when you've not had to go through with it yourself but trust me it is difficult and I do sympathise with the position he is in.”

Sorry but lets get real.
It was not just Gary he attacked. In fact he eased off Gary eventually. He goaded Audley all the time. He was down right Nasty to Kellie. His remarks to her were vile and mean in the extreme. He also took it upon himself to chastise Lauren when it was none of his damn business. Just because he thought Rikki had the sun shine outa his backside. Well he was a pratt as well.
You should have seen his ex in Ex on the Beach when he turned up. Talk abut raging. So he must have done something to get her wound up.

Yep there were only the favoured few, Dee, Ricci and George who escaped his venom.

That's what I thought too. In fact I said last night I didn't care who won between Gary and Audley although Audley might just edge it because James would be apopleptic if |Audley won

Linda Nolan pushes him close. She was a bitter, twisted, hate filled, old crone.

James and Dee are to peas in a bad pod, so glad they didn't win,so glad Gary won or indeed if Audley won I'd have equally been happy.

On a minor note they were paid to go in the big brother house, not to look after an elderly man with hearing disabilities and mental health issues. I look after my nan who has Alzheimers and can't hear very well anyway but I choose to do it, I don't think anyone who entered the BB house expected to cope with Gary, no matter the money. Money isn't everything although you wouldn't think that in regards to how many times you mention it in your post.

As to Lauren and Audley, they barely spent half the time that James did with Gary, the one time I saw Audley actually speak to Gary on a one to one level was when James decided to leave the room. Heck Edele spent more individual time with Gary than those two did.

I have empathy, I have empathy for all the house mates, I don't just pick and choose who deserves it more without considering that persons reasons. No one is perfect and that includes both James and Gary.”

Fair doos. I respect your opinion. It's tough in there I agree and judging from the outside (as we do) is all to easy. Sometimes you need someone to pull you up and point out the other side of the coin, although I do still think they were far too hard on him. They weren't expected to look after Gary. BB would have intervened if it had been that bad and I think some 'exagaration' was probably on the table. e.g. I don't believe James 'showered' Gary for a start. You could see he was perfectly able to shower...and dry himself

How do you now how much "individual time" they spent with Gary?

Anyway, they're not paid just to go into the house. They're paid to be housemates, which entails dealing with other HMs, including any who are difficult to live with -- just as housemates in ordinary BB have to do without getting fat fees. They're not supposed to encounter only things they expected. BB is often a difficult, testing experience. And if they feel that what they face in BB is too onerous, they can leave.

I think I might find James more difficult to live with than Gary; and re having to cope with unexpected things, I don't think the HMs expected to have to cope with so obnoxious a WUM as James.

Yes, that excuses everything.

Joseph Stalin and Jack The Ripper were being themselves too, you know. (yes, they're extreme examples, but its the same idea)
