Gary is just as arrogant, at least just as. I don't see James as bitter I see him as annoyed and he has every right to be. The soft edit they gave Gary was bolstered by the bad guy edit James got. Gary is a well known asshole. It's hard for me to see his inability to say Audley and not orderly as a sign Gary genuinely thinks something of.

Gary just doesn't give a flying fig about any of it. He's been like that his whole public life.
When he's 'on' he's on and the other times he's more away with the fairies. He has led a rather hard life. Lots and lots of excess.

No. Don't see it that way leagues apart. James is malicious too.

Inability yeah ok. He corrected fgs , people without medical issues can make mistakes too , it happens you know. DAMN. Not difficult to comprehend is it.

If you watch and listen, you will notice that James ALSO says 'Aud-el-ey' and James Jordan has the benefit of having heard the name, seen the name written and isn't deaf.

What's his excuse?

James is a horrible d*ckhead. I watched the program same as you, if you couldn'nt see it then that is fair enough.

Even when he wasn't involved in the convo he would give little looks to his chums, but more often than not he would speak as if he was Jesus.

If someone he didnt think much of was speaking to his sad little crew, he would give knowing looks. HE. IS. A. PRICK.

what appears to be difficult is understanding there is way more to the real Gary Busey then that peplum BBUK just fed us.

That was hilarious. He's not scared... Cracks me up every time he says it.
I suppose that's the difference for me. I don't take what they show as a true guide to contestants personalities. The day is cut to fit characters to story lines. It's not to show personalities and activities throughout the day. Reactions are shown with no context. No catalyst. I'm constantly left wondering what prompted that response.

Lots of wind ups this series. Shame frenchy and Leslie went so early.

No excuse involved. Clearly each wound up the other at every opportunity.
Those 2 were at it night and day.

Gary's teeth didn't seem to fit quite right perhaps he couldn't manage aud.

the point was it was proposed that Audley was important to Gary and I find that hard to believe because after weeks he still didn't bother to get his name right. He had trouble with Edele to begin with as well. Anyway I see that as an indication that Gary is more oblivious than anything else that's been put forth. It's my view, you of course are welcome to you own different view.

I was a dedicated LF viewer so I know what your getting at,...these days with this format I either watch if it interests me or switch off if it bores/annoys me too much...I get involved with what they show and try and enjoy it for what it is..(difficult)

Yeah Vesna I agree that it was a shame, they had more to give than the likes of some of the more duller finalists.

Hopefully we get more LF back under this new ownership.

He simply couldn't pronounce it correctly - I've heard loads of people say it like he does (wrongly) over the years.

It's an unusual name and he did it when he was in the DR too so it wasn't for the purpose of winding Audley up.

He had maxillofacial surgery to remove a golf ball sized cancerous tumour.

He's deaf.

Obviously it's difficult to pronounce names or words that you cannot hear clearly and there's also the fact that these names are unusual and not the kinds of names he's familiar with.

Fingers crossed! Although even with live feed the producers of BBUS have still totally manipulated the house. Basically bribing 2 players to stay together, to keep each other in the game with 2 weeks left.

No reason I can think of why Viacom wouldn't air BBUK in the US next series. Now they have an American winner which might attract more interest. Wouldn't surprise me.

Arrrrghhh!! I have yet to watch that series you spoiler.!!!

Lol no worries tho..

Interesting about UK version airing in the states

FWIW I happen to think James looked worse on LF and Live in his interview,so not sure it would totally have helped him,but we defiantly would have got a more complete picture of him.,

He is definitely his own worst enemy. Kind of like Gary as well . The biggest difference IMO is that Gary managed to live in spite of his actions and came out the other side. Since James's , I'll call it narcissism seems to manifest in just the foot in mouth and not reckless behaviour and severe overindulgence, he'll IMO manage. Also Gary canbe quite charming, James not really.

Ps. Sorry about the spoiler.

Very concise summation. Thank you.

They did show that in the house, on more than one occasion.

But as far as I'm aware Gary probably didn't know much about the amount of bitching James did about him when he wasn't around at the time.

But.. He has. The earth spins, or rotates around the sun once a year. Gary's been alive for 70 year which means he's been around the sun 70 times.
most of what he says makes sense.

Yes because he didn't know all the nasty things he was saying behind his back and I don't think he realised that James' "helpful" behaviour was in fact rather passive aggressive.

I feel a bit silly now because you're right. That's what he meant, and I didn't get it until you explained it to me.

Same with George's.”

I'm glad you've clarified that. I thought 'God ...............I missed so much on my weeks holiday'

I'd like a return to the old days where we had a chronological account of the day from getting up to going to bed. It's far too contrived these days.

It sure is James completed two tasks in two days involving the whole house and not 1 minute of either of them appeared on the main show.

It does beg the question 'What's the point?' really IMO.

I'd far rather be seeing real stuff rather than contrived/edited tension and rows.

IMO they needed a bad boy and James was the chosen one and they carried that on to BBBOTS where there biased against him was pathetic.

Defence of him is disgraceful, disgusting really.

I imagine he appeals to a very specific type of person.

What is it that appeals to you about the spiteful bitter bully?
