Eastenders-Bianca's exit
Am i the only one disappointed with bianca's exit? like her or not, you can't deny she is a iconic character and i felt her last week has been overshadowed by alfie and the carters (i like the carters, but im getting sick of them now) just my opinion though

I was disappointed, there no like big goodbye or anything, no Julia's theme and I was surprised that none of the other Brannings were to say goodbye. It was almost like it wasn't a final farewell, maybe they expect Patsy a Palmer to return after a year or 2.

She shouldn't get a Julia's theme when we all know she'll be back!

I've complained in the past that 'Julia's theme' has been overused in my opinion but I really thought Bianca deserved it as one of the long standing characters on EE.
But having said that, it wouldn't surprise me to see Patsy Palmer come back some day. |

I think she has just become a victim of having had so many exits (whether they knew they were temporary or not) already. I suspect they just thought that viewers have been through the big exit so many times already that they were bored of it and wouldn't believe it is for good anyway so decided to keep it low key.

As long as she never comes back I am happy with her exit.

It didn't really feel like an exit and, of course, if this was remotely realistic it wouldn't be. Milton Keynes is hardly the other side of the world so she'd be back to visit all the time.
I think there's also a bit of a "girl who cried wolf" element. She has gone so many times that it does feel likely that she'll be back again some time. Much as I'd like Bianca to have her happy ending, I would like her back one day. When written well, she's a fantastic character. |
