Can I ask you, xxtimbo, why you started this thread in the Broadband section of the board, when BT TV has its own dedicated subforum in the Youview section?

There's many of us dedicated BTites over there happy to chat about this stuff with you! I rarely think to come into this subforum, to be honest

Another thing you can do if you have the bt app on your smartphone. Get a chromecast and it casts over to it, so you then get bt sports on your TV.

Excellent quality even on SD to the point where I have considered cancelling the HD channels except that the difference is noticeable on the Eurosport SD channels on the superbike racing which is my main thing.

Looks like Ive been downgraded and no longer get prem league football
on a sat afternoon.

I seem to be on BT Lite

The carrot to get me to change from talk talk to BT was a premship game
every weekend.
Granted I had to watch it on line in a web browser... but at least it was live
prem league footy .

Looks like Im condemned to watch Macclesfield on a wet sat afternoon... thanks BT

Saturday afternoon English premier league is on BT Sport 1 (BT Sport lite) so even if you only get the free sport channel included with (contracted) BTbroadband service you still get EPL, if on the other hand you don't want to re contract but be in a position to leave BTB with the minimum notice and no ETC then you won't have BT Sport 1 as it's only free if you are still within a minimum term contract, this was extensively discussed a few months ago, are you sure you didn't pick a Saturday when there was no EPL , due to internationals or when BT didn't have a game to show ?

not been on for a while, thought Id sign in and watch a bit
of BT TV
..... old probs come back again

"Sorry, there was a problem playing the video

Code: VC011 "

Watching TV on the browser is all very well but you need a good B Band signal
prob 20 meg at least ?

My signal seems to go up and down so watching via
a browser is a pain in the butt

Thanks BT for nothing !

My Broadband speed is only about 3Mb , I normally watch BT Sport via a Sky set top box but I have the BT Sport app on my IPad and it's perfect , no buffering, great picture quality etc, so you don't need anything like 20Mb, but watching on PC always seemed a problem, Microsoft silver light issues etc, Dunno if they ever resolved that, perhaps your browser or PC aren't up to the job

The 'big' EPL game on BT Sport this weekend is on Sunday and is Spurs v Chelsea, but I'm sure you knew that already, perhaps I can head off another complaint , in January there won't be a EPL game on BT Sport when the FA Cup third round weekend comes along, save you posting

Sat 19th there is no lunchtime EPL game, so no BT Sport game, BT have the rights to 38 live games, obviously if they show 2 games in a week that's going to leave a gap somewhere , it could be the EPL or BT that dictates when games are moved to a lunchtime, and which games they are, but as long as BT Sport they show 38 games live, they are providing what they said, they have never claimed to show a game every Saturday afternoon

Ill abstain that weekend and save all the beers
for Boxing Day !
