I don't really watch CS anymore but I'm sure I heard that the dad was dying. Has anyone else heard this or was it just me?

I haven't warmed to any of the family, and I don't think they will last in the show. I haven't read anything about the father/grandfather dying though.

I can't stand them as well, watching paint dry is more interesting than having to watch them. I don't reckon they will be here next year.

Maybe it was just a made up rumour of the dad dying then.

I agree, Kal and Leanne have as much chemistry as Nigel Farage and Nick Clegg.

I think this idea came from an interview with Jimi Mistry who commented that his dad wasn't in the best of health and supposed to be retired. I've not seen any mention of it onscreen.

Goodness, the Nazirs are absolutely pointless. I can't wait for them to leave!

They have not set the screen alight so far. If the show gets a new producer any time soon (let's hope that it's sooner rather than later) they will be axed as a whole- like the Mortons were, by Kim Crowther back in 2008.

I can see Blackburn staying another year yet.

The Nazirs are apparently moving to the street.

I really do fear for CS if this guy is left in charge any longer.
