When I voted, the site let me vote for more than one so I voted for Wilf, Jack and Rory.

Rory is my hero, the Legend Centurion.

Surely this poll is pointless to include Danny? We can't begin to comment until his first season is finished at least.

I love Danny already. Think he could surpass all (bar Captain Jack) but we need to wait and see. So taking him out of the equation its Jack and Rory.

Jack just shading it. But I've taken to Danny quicker than either so he may well surpass them in a few weeks.

Wilf.... That is all.

Got to be Jack for me. Everyone else in the options is just a 'hanger on' type companion to one of the actual main girl companion's where as Jack is a unique enigmatic charcter in his own right, stretches against two doctors and could easily re appear any time and in almost any episode with any new doctor (would love to see him with Capaldi )

I said it before but ill say it again...Captain Jack would've been brilliant with Eleven. It was a real shame they didn't manage to make that happen.

But I actually think he would work even better with Capaldi. Can you imagine Twelve being faced with Jack?!? It would be utterly fantastic. I really hope it happens at some point. I know Moffat wanted him back but schedules clashed (I think this is the case anyway) so here's hoping they can make it happen for S9. We know Barrowman would return if asked.

Wilf. The rest have been so wet, servile and drippy.

Though he has said it would be more difficult now he's under contract for Arrow (even though the Arrow producers are DW fans)

Definitely Wilfred Mott. His conversation with the Doctor on the space station regarding the Master was so well written. And I personally saw Bernard Cribbens in a new light as an actor when he said "Don't you dare put the Master before the Earth" or words to that effect. Wilf will always come first, sorry Rory. But Rory does come a very close second.
