Yeah I think so. He probably will come third, but you know a whole new audience watches the final, so many people just vote then and if he picks up the casual, 'yes, he's the best singer vote' and if Andrea does the performances of his life. I'm probably clutching at straws as he does look favourite to finish 3rd now but who knows, he may pick up Laurens votes & then there's the duets, the right duet could have a massive effect so could be interesting who he gets.

Same here I was really hoping for a Ben, Fleur bottom 2 simply based on singing ability but hey we've been around long enough to know how these shows work, they need to change the name to popularity contest

Yay!!!!! He's made it to the final. I was so nervous he wouldn't make it. Glad the audience were really behind him. Simon is peeing me off with his little digs though. How I would love to wipe that smug smile off his face. Awww Andrea and Lauren seem very close and on yesterday's Xtra Factor they were holding hands. Andrea's always complimented Lauren in interviews. Shame they were both the early favourites but ended up being the underdogs after Cowell's manipulation.

Glad that Andrea is in the final....just what was required!!! Still fuming over the 2 comments Simon Cowell made after the singoff and on the Xtra factor about Andrea...but u know what. ..Andrea is now a fully fledged star and hes here to stay!!! Thank goodness! !!

Feeling a bit down after the result as I really became a true fan of Lauren every week.

I've never been to one either. It used to be the further the acts get in the competition, the more songs they get to sing. They do duets and there's a group song at the end.

Many of us here feel the exposure is far more important than actually winning it & she's had that, in fact many of us here don't want Andrea winning & getting stuck with SYCO.
Of course that is dependant on them going on to find their own way, kind of a catch 22, we want him to win but at the same time we don't want SYCO to have anything to do with him.

That's a seriously cool thing to say! It's awesome to come over and say that, clearly Lauren and Andrea have the coolest fans!

By the way, anyone with any information about this bus thing please post it here! I would love to see it if it comes near me. Is Andrea traveling in the bus? Is it just going to be around London? Was it just a daft ending to the show? They're being a bit vague. Anyway if there's a bus with Andrea in it I'll be doing my utmost to get to it.

Andrea just did the best performance EVER of Who You Are on X Factor. Wow. No-one could ever top that.

With regard to poor old Lauren, a lot of commentators on the analysis sites have pointed out that both of her semi-final songs were originally sung by boy bands and were in the wrong key for her - and as such were actually probably meant for Stereo Kicks. The theory goes that they were expecting Stereo Kicks to go through but couldn't justify it after their terrible sing off (or possibly due to the pictures of one of them on ketamine coming out in the press that week), but they didn't want to invest anything in Lauren going to the final so she was made to sing their songs. That and the bad slots sealed her fate. I felt very sorry for her, and she seemed resigned to it and not at all surprised to leave. I really hope she has success.

With regard to Andrea, I am fuming at Simon's comments on Xtra Factor "Good luck trying to get an Italian to win British X Factor..... There are British contestants who deserve British votes". Not only did he say "we welcome all nationalities here" to Andrea in the auditions, but he also makes an absolute fortune selling X Factor UK around the world, plus the X Factor franchise has been bought in many international countries too. I wonder whether people in all those countries would be so keen to watch if they had heard his comments...

I really think that every attempt has been made to derail Andrea - comments about his weight, his face, lies in the press - yet he has managed to get through to the final simply because he is a lovely guy who can really sing. Good for him. Let's all enjoy Saturday for his last performance and then wait until he gets to release his own stuff away from the stress of X Factor. I personally will not be watching on Sunday, or next year!

I cant see Andrea winning but like Lauren i think he'll get a deal.

My only worry is if he turns into another typical male x factor contestant
