I agree. I think it will be a great change, it will be so lovely to hear him do a bit of jazz. I'm gonna wear my pug headscarf tonight in support!
![]() In case anyone missed this article, tonight in Andrea's VT he's set to go all British! http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s103/...ith-mel-b.html |

Just saw his BBC Breakfast interview, I hadn't seen it before.
He comes across really well in it, down to earth and his English is a lot better in that Interview than it sometimes comes across via x factor. |

Hello Fanstinis! Lets try not to get to get bogged down by Simon Cowell, Lots of people are on twitter complaining about it apparently. But, anyway our Andrea was amazing (as ever
) But of course we must not assume he's safe, so vote what you can and spread the news via Twitter, Facebook and wherever else you can!

He is damned whatever he does, perhaps thats a testament to how good he is
He knew what was coming last night from Simon when he finished singing you could see it in his face, just hope he understands its the nature of the programme and doesn't lose too much confidence over it. |

He's very down to earth, not awkward in the slightest and very expressive when in his native language as seen on the Italian interview, at least by me anyway. Trust me, he's not one to be influenced by what Simon or anyone has to say. He's pretty much his own man, he will go with the flow do what's asked/expected of him but he'll keep performing his way (maybe why Simon is picking on him!), That's who he is, he'll just enjoy the moment. He won't worry about winning it or going out today, he pretty much said so in his Italian interview. He's just happy that he's here, enjoying the experience, regardless of what happens he sees it as the start not the end. ![]() He has already generated a lot of interest in Italy so whatever happens it looks like he's not going to be short of work, be it in Italy or here.

I think apart from the Italian Interview which showed his personality off really well, the snippet on xtra factor last night about all the hugging highlighted what a happy go lucky type of fellow he is, he's just always happy, enjoys the moment and doesn't concern himself with what might or might not be
![]() ![]() ![]() I just hope whatever happens on and after xfactor it isn't the last we see of him.

So the theme this week is Whitney Vs Elton. Quite a good selection of songs there for Andrea. So what does everyone predict? On another thread someone mentioned Mel wants the same song for Andrea that Simon wants for Stevi... I'd take that with a pinch of salt. I'd really like to see 'Your Song' . 'I Will Always Love You' is the predictable choice but he would do a great job, might be a great 'moment' kind of song for him.

![]() Probably a little risky mind, we'll just get the "oh singing the same song again" brigade out in force lol I personally don't mind as long as he gets a good song ![]() Nice comment from Rhydian ![]() Rhydian Roberts @RhydianMusic · Nov 15 Night in tonight watching #xfactor. Thought Simon was a bit harsh on Andrea. Thought he did a great job @AndreaFaustini1 #bigbandweek |

I wouldn't mind a second helping of "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" a longer version

I remember I sent him some fan mail after being so upset he lost, and he sent me the most wonderful reply. Really nice guy.

![]() Found a couple of Andreas songs from when when he was 13 and on the Italian show I'l leave you a song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGSJffxS9_Y Per Amore (For Love) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxX3YWoqOkM e penso a te (I'm thinking of you) In this one a duet (the female sounds really good) he was 15/16 and he sounds really good and different! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CO7iXKca_rs Giuliana Danzè & Andrea Faustini - His eye is on the Sparrow This one is Andrea singing e penso a te (I'm thinking of you) again but when he was 16 ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHBtBLQfUVw |

So wish he would sing this on the show (but maybe when they get to sing 2 songs though)Since we're all posting Andrea songs I'll add another one. Andrea sings 'Smile' ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFRwmfqC3L0 Judging by the crowd noise I would guess this was from the Children's talent show he won, so he would have been 13. Edit -Actually listening again he may be older, I don't know. ![]() Yet another edit because I found this... Giuliana Danzè and Andrea Faustini - Whenever you call https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1pbPIMK1Ik Really lovely. Sounds all Christmassy. She's an Italian 'The Voice' contestant, I don't know if she won it or not. Seems they were/are very close. How sweet.

Actually it would be great to see him sing in Italian on X Factor. Maybe half a song, then into English.

How sweet. ![]() The music industry in Italy does not give people chances, it is exceptionally difficult to break into. There are many Italians who have come through these types of shows who have exceptional voices and are scattered around the world trying to make a career because it's virtually impossible in Italy! A lot of these singers would blow our contestants here in England out of the water, they are that good! For those that have had vocal training in Italy, they will tell you that it is of a VERY high standard, probably the highest in the world and by some margin! I myself wouldn't know but have heard it said a couple of times, with Italy having a deep operatic background in music I can imagine it being so. I personally feel there are a lot of established artists that in my opinion are vocally terrible and that speaks volume to me! Unfortunately, it seems to me these days that being in the right place at the right time coupled with who you know is more important ![]() Along with Andrea, Giuliana Danzè there were 3 other boys on that same show (I'l leave you a song) who went on to form Il Volo (The Flight) (very similar to IL Divo), they have exceptional voices yet still had to go to America to break into the industry. There was also another girl on the show whose name I can't recall who went to the voice in another country of which I can't recall and blew the competition out of the water. If memory serves me right, all these people were on that show at the same time, the competition was of a very high standard. The standard in Italy is very high, but it's practically impossible to get a footing which is a real shame for some of these people who in my humble opinion are extremely talented ![]() It would not surprise me if after Andreas exploits on the x factor here we see other Italians coming over to have a go
