The gospel choir at the beginning of Give A Little Love reminds me of Michael Jackson's Hold Me from the film, Free Willy. I really hope it does well for him. With his album coming out in July, there are no big Saturday entertainment shows which he can appear on to promote it. Lots of shows go on a break for the summer. Summer is festival season so he needs to be doing gigs and he needs lots of radio airplay.

We'll have to go on a twitter campaign and get him some backing. Precious little so far. Where are his X Factor friends. Jay James is the only one I know to have tweeted. Where are the celebrities who declared their admiration? Where are they?

I noticed on wiki which does say Label: RCA, also says recorded: Los Angeles?

Sony is the parent company. According to iTunes, the album is listed under the Simco label. The label for the mp3 album on Amazon is also listed as Syco Music and the CD album is listed as a "RCA" release on Amazon. I'm guessing Syco have some kind of joint deal with RCA (another Sony subsidiary), because Syco have exclusive rights to acts discovered on their shows.

Do you have insider information on this,Magic, as you're in the industry because I read that any Sony label has the right to make a bid for any X Factor artist. Syco has the right to sign the winner and a share of all the contestants' earning over the next six months. Andrea has not done many gigs, so he won't have earned very much. It does seem odd, though, that all the hype about going to America has not come to fruition and Andrea is not getting very much support. Is it too early for that. Are they waiting for the album. Dbarnz says we shouldn't get depressed but .......

I'm not sure if it matters, but Paloma Faith is also signed to RCA but her thing on iTunes says "Sony" too!

I wonder if Simon did receive his share of the wedding ceremony in Edimburgh?!?

What is there to be depressed about?
The song has had ONE spin on the radio. It isn't officially released until July 10th. They haven't even got the artwork or music video done yet - there's plenty of time. Its available to download now because you get it when you preorder the album. Most people still haven't heard it - Sam, Ed, Mel etc have extremely busy schedules, they obviously won't have heard the song yet. I see no cause for worry The song is absolutely brilliant and has all the potential to do extremely well.

All the contestants are signed to the same management company, James Grant. They do the hiring and billing and would send Simon his share before Andrea gets any money. I doubt whether Andrea has made any profit yet as he has had to pay for lodgings over here and the management fee. He would be lucky to get 50% of his fee and he has fares to pay. His twitter photos seem to indicate that he is living in a hotel. His suitcase is in the room by his bed.

I think this song is a real climber, it has the longevity to rise and be in the charts for a long time.

I think we in Italy have a smaller volume of purchases on iTunes than UK, this explains the faster climb (and I contributed for 1/nth with my purchase )

I was trying to find a version of "Lascia Tutto Cosi" Andrea's Italian song he has listed on the album but with no joy.
I presumed it is a cover but can't seem to find much on it, so maybe not...

I hope he wrote it himself. Then he'll get a little bit of a financial boost, especially if other singers record it too. What does the title mean, diabolo?
