What really wound me up during the show, was Simon's comment regarding Fleurs dress saying "don't worry about the dress it's a singing competition", the mans hypocrisy makes me want to reach into my TV and hit him! lol

I agree. It's hard not to get angry with Simon, last week I shouted a couple of expletives at the TV, totally out of character for me I can assure you! Hey, I think I might be allergic to Simon Cowell!

I also agree about the diva songs. Although of course it was another great performance. If he can pull through tomorrow then I'm convinced that two songs will be the making of Andrea Fanstinis!

I think he'll be fine even if somehow he found himself in the bottom 2 simply because I'm convinced Stevi will be in the bottom 2.
No matter who was in the bottom 2 with Stevi, I don't see the judges having the nerve to back Stevi allowing it to go to deadlock!

On a side note, I've noticed a few of you posting in defense of Andrea on threads like Getting BORED of Andrea nowadays.

We can't help but want to defend him but it really is not worth it.
There's a lot of disgruntled OTY fans, KIDS and it wouldn't surprise me if it were one of them.
I see it as a small insignificant minority whose opinion is basically insignificant!
Let's be honest, we've had polls topped by OTY all this week who have gone out, that's how significant the opinions of a lot of people on here are
More importantly, you really only end up feeding the thread.
A lot of what these types of people say, says a lot more about them than the person it's aimed at!

You are probably right. I do do a bit of that myself. I want to stick up for him, because there are certain posters who just set up hate filled topics full of nonsense, but you are right, it's really not worth getting involved. It's difficult to refrain from saying something in defence of Andrea on these types of threads, I'm wondering if the best way to go about it is defending him in a roundabout kind of way by post something along these lines...

Picking something relevant, in this case OTY and posting something like...

"OTY who are now out have topped polls left right and center all this week on this forum, I think it is safe to say that (A) most of us don't know as much as we think we do and (B) most of our opinions/views are not very good "

I would then only respond again by quoting the above with THIS! to bring it to the fore of the thread as and when it's needed, I think it would belittle a lot of the negative views without singling anyone out, it would probably also make some think twice about adding to the thread? We've even gone as far as included ourselves in the post by saying we and our! lol

I have a feeling a lot of these people are OTY fans and for the most part kids who are upset at OTY's elimination, I deliberately picked OTY as the "something relevant" in this example post because of that, I think it's them this type of response would belittle the most and would probably be the best way to avoid fuelling the thread?

It's difficult to see it but knowing what goes on with underhand tactics in these type of shows, who knows it could happen.

It is probably confirming the problem with the diva songs that really need to go ASAP in my opinion!
We don't know for sure but I'm suspecting he's losing momentum and he's losing it fast

Facebook likes and itunes have no bearing on the result. Most people on FB who play apps / like photos and Groups will be a different teenage market to Andrea fans. Besides Stereo Kicks always do well in the itunes rankings but still they've repeatedly ended up in the bottom two. Don't worry guys I've got a good feeling.

Then if he can make it through tonight two songs will give a chance to ditch the diva songs. (although I do like them) And really show people all Andrea has!

Ok Faustinis! Big shock. But it is not over yet.

I think being favourite, plus same diva songs each week meant the votes dwindled away each week. He will bounce back this week, as I've said before, two songs will be the making of him. If he was gonna be bottom two any week, it was best it was this one. He will be safe. This was the same week Olly Murs was in the bottom two. There's a big future ahead Fanstinis. It was incrediably hard to see him crying, but it will be ok.

There's the song vote thing to look forward to so don't forget to vote in that guys.

I felt for Andrea tonight, he was very emotional
I hope both Mel and Andrea take on board Cheryl's comment about possibly being in the bottom 2 because of the same diva songs!

On a more cheerful note, It's nice to see so many established artist choosing Andrea as their favourite, if nothing else that's got to be rubbing the nay sayers up the wrong way on here!

Hated seeing Andreas upset Really didn't like Simons smugness on xtrra factor. After reading Steve Brooksteins book I really dont feel I want to watch anymore, but am invested in Andrea til the end. Am NOT watching next year lol
He may be getting some backlash of Mel sending Jay home and dissing Ben all the time. Song choices haven't helped either really.
