Him singing Wrecking Ball was very good, not so much the shirt though, lol. It's not a bad thing him singing it on the tour as it's a very recent pop song, the youngsters in the audience can relate to it.

I'm not sure how much we can read into the outfits in that picture because the O Holy Night jacket is there and I can't believe he's singing a Christmas carol...? Maybe they're just what they think are the nicest outfits, or just a selection to try on?

We only have to wait 5 days before the tour kicks of to know for sure

Interesting news about Wrecking Ball, I wonder if they think more modern song choices will be better suited to the crowd and show he's a current artist to record label exes. Whatever he does it will be amazing right?

I'm a Lauren fan, but I did like Andrea in the series, along with OTY and Jack as well.

The only one I wouldn't be happy with there for Andrea to sing would be Wrecking Ball, I like the song, but I don't think that it suits Andrea's style personally.

Roll on to the other three though as they was some brilliant performances from Andrea.

When I checked the song choices before the semi-final live show I wasn't sure if Andrea can pull off Wrecking ball and if Fleur can pull off All I want for christmas, but both of them really surprised me that night in a good way, I really like his Wrecking ball version.

I ignored the negative comments from Simon about Andrea. I honestly liked or loved all of his performances so picking the least favourite one is quite difficult. My least favourite one would probably have to be Relight my fire (and not because of the gold paint, I am sure I am not the only one who actually liked that lol).
Being a Queen fan, Somebody to love is hands down my favourite performance of his, he really did an amazing job with that song.

Lauren, Andrea and Paul in that order were my only 3 favourites this season and I would have been jumping around from happiness if either one of them had won.. I am not sure if he will get signed or not (labels are unfortunately taking their time I guess with both him and Lauren...), but I will be surprised if someone doesn't sign him by the end of March.

Perhaps I might stop by here more often :P

I don't like Wrecking Ball, so that's my least favourite but I'm wondering whether the costume department are just choosing the outfits that suit him the most. The Versace shirt did him no favours. I like him in more formal wear and I saw him in a photo wearing a camel coat over his shoulders in the Italian style. Gorgeous! Not suitable for the stage though.
I see Sam Smith is still winning awards. I hope he remembers Andrea and invites him to sing with him.
I don't want Andrea to be signed by just anybody. He needs a really good company who will support him in every way, not just use him for a quick return and then discard him as some companies seem to do. Go Andrea!

Of course, Andrea is my favourite but Paul and Lauren would be my next favourites. Andrea has always praised them. He mentioned Lauren several times. I'm sure she'll do well, though. I like her dress sense. I'm a bit tired or half naked performers.

I've found that most Andrea fans were also fans of Lauren and Paul and visa versa. We obviously all have great taste for me those 3 were clearly the best singers.. and naively I thought that was what the competition was about. They should have all been in the final.

I loved all of Andrea's performances - even gold week my least favourite was probably I Have Nothing as I feel you could tell he wasn't happy with having another Whitney.. and thats the performance that landed him in the bottom 2 with stevie If he sings Wrecking Ball on tour I'll be happy as it shows his ability to do contemporary.

I'm not sure how their contract works, but I am confidant that once they are released fro it (I assume after tour) both Andrea and Lauren will be snapped up. I reckon they're already in talks.

Hi Drek20x As others have said, most of us Andrea fans really liked Lauren too (we must be the group of people who appreciate good substance over style! ) - we had a big discussion about the way that Lauren was treated (probably about 20 pages back now!). She had a lovely quality to her voice and I honestly thought that her and Andrea would be the last two standing. Paul was good too, although unfortunately for him, he was probably put in the same category as Andrea and they decided to get rid of him early. The treatment of Paul was some of the worst manipulation I have ever seen on X Factor Just awful.... In the same way that Andrea got the constant comments about silly faces, food and weight, Lauren got the same unfair comments about not being willing to dance (whilst other acts never danced - i.e. Ben the winner for one...) and generalised comments which implied that she was difficult to work with. I am pretty sure all that was to discredit her and clear the way for Fleur - who was clearly Simon's preferred winner. From what I have seen of her, she seems a lovely girl with her head screwed on right and I am sure that she will rise above all that and have great success. What label wouldn't want a beautiful young girl with a lovely voice!

Couldn't agree more - nice to see a good role model for young girls for a change. And I think that Andrea really did like Lauren - he has always said that he thought she had the best voice...

That is really sweet It would be sooo good for Andrea to have Sam Smith as a friend and ally. Andrea has tweeted this morning congratulating Sam for all his success at the Grammys - four awards - to paraphrase HildaLG - 'Go Sam!'

Andrea favourited my tweet, today. Great! I hope all the love and praise gives him a real boost. He showed such fortitude to keep returning but I saw his sad face occasionally. BTW he looked sad yesterday at rehearsals. When he entered the show, he was his true self, confident in himself but humble about his talent. I have never seen another star who could entertain me with such a wide range of emotions. I still laugh every time I watch him sing Try a Little Tenderness and I still feel pain and amazement at IDKMOS. There's only one word for him. Phenomenal! Gorgeous skin. Kind eyes. More than one word! Well what can I say. I get carried away. Go Andrea!

Too bad I haven't noticed that sooner, I would have joined the conversations on this thread weeks ago. I guess some of us are just willing to look past the negative comments or mistakes. I honestly thought all 3 of them would be in the final after the judge's houses.


Lauren in my opinion wasn't treated as badly as Andrea and Paul. That Dark horse video made her look like she was unwilling to make any effort to dance on stage, and I thought that about her as well (it didn't bother me at all though) until she redeemed herself 3 weeks later, but she probably lost some fans in week 4. According to many viewers (based on comments on different forums) she also had no personality, I disagreed with that and ignored those comments completely. Like you said, what label wouldn't want her, she has the potential to get better as long as she can take criticism and is willing to work hard to improve. She has to get those tonsils removed first though.

Paul's Don't Stop Me Now video kind of screwed him over, along with that dementor comparison comment. Louis kissing Simon's ass the next night by voting for Jay was a final nail in his coffin. His exit from the competition would have been a lot less shocking if he had secured his place on the whole tour

To be honest, I can't blame Mel for resorting to tactics to protect Andrea, at least to me it seemed like she was doing that. It never bothered me although I had noticed that he was making faces before Simon made that unnecessary comment on that and since then I've seen people commenting about it everywhere, I simply chose to ignore those comments as well. For me it is all about the singing ability in these talent shows, I don't care about the dancing or looks, in Lauren's case they were just a nice bonus.
The comments about his weight (I haven't seen many of those) are just ridiculous. He was just as great of a singer as he was before he gained a bit of weight, big deal, it is not like it had any effect on his voice. Those who dislike him were just happy to have something "negative" to say about him, with the comment about his face being the most common. All I had in my mind when Lauren, Andrea and Stevi were left standing on the stage was "Dermot, don't say Stevi's name so one of them can finally take him out!". If Stevi wasn't in the bottom 2 that night, it would have been a bigger shock for me than when Paul left.

We have discussed at length on here all the manipulations that went on during the show to make way for a certain act who seemed to be the chosen one...We do appreciate that everyone has different tastes music/voice wise, but felt that a lot of criticism that what received on the show was too personal and uneccessary, and a lot of people took notice unfortunatley, plus some press articles that proved to be untrue it all leaves a bad taste in the mouth. A bit of a eye opener for me really as have never really got this involved in the show before.

It's true that bad things happened. There was manipulation but try as I might, I still can't justify the ugly face comment. Andrea has a beautiful face and most passionate singers show their feelings in their expressions. I sincerely believe that it was a very rare occurrence in Andrea's performances.
Lauren is very young and needs a little more time to mature. She got a raw deal as did Paul. His demise was so obviously planned . BUT on this thread we have all agreed to focus on the positive because we need to send good vibes, peace and love to these young people. We wish them well for the future.

There are two group songs for the tour apparently - Shake it Off (yikes!) and Never Forget, which ironically I can't remember this is according to Twitter @TXFTour2015, who have got quite a bit right so far and seem to have 'people on the ground'...

Is it possible that they will sing different songs at different venues. It's going to be very boring for them if they do the same thing at every show.

No they'll definitely be singing the same songs at every show, its how the tours have always been

By live streaming I mean someone filming it there live and streaming it online so we can watch at home! But this wont happen haha. We'll have to wait for the youtube videos
