I don`t see much of a resemblance. Which is a shame as the casting department did an excellent job in casting teen Thomas King. Thomas and Carl King really did look like father and son.

Going by the picture he's hotter than Karl Davis

Karl Davies wasn't in it for 12 years. He joined in 2001 and left around 2005 and came back briefly in 2009.
