I recently 'trolled' EE so to say and asked to see if they had a 'Unlimited 4G' data package knowing that they couldn't offer this.

I was supprised to get this response from the customer service team, what do you make of it?

The conversation went pretty much like this :-

"Hi there, do you do any 4G unlimited deals?"

"I'm sorry but we don't do any unlimited 4G deals, the most we do is a few GB, Why do you want unlimited data"

"I need it for streaming 1080p HD YouTube videos and to watch as many netflix videos as I like"

"Mobile phones wasn't designed for streaming"

And after that I just said ;-

"What's the point in offering amazing speeds on 4GEE with a cap and to not use for streaming and just emails? We are not in the WAP ages"

He then hung up on me ^^

Do you guys think he was rude?

You 'trolled them' and then ask if they were rude? LOL

They probably just though you were a waste of time and so not worth dealing with and moved on to someone else. They don't have to talk to you if they don't want to.

He was right to put the phone down on you, after all you were just wasting their time when you knew the answer.

I don't get the point of doing what you did, what were you expecting as the likely outcome?!?

Did you then call up dominos and ask them why they don't do free unlimited salad?
