So Garth Ennis's Crossed and Alan Moore's Crossed +100 is like James Axler's Deathlands and Outlanders series.... (ish)

I've only read the first Deathlands book, but a quick Google would suggest you're correct.
So I read that first book and it was all fairly gritty post apocalyptic, right wing militia nonsense, then suddenly, completely out of nowhere people were wielding laser rifles and plasma grenades. It was as if he was almost finished and his editor told him to Sci-Fi the f**k out of it. |
