Apologies Sunny! I hadn't read the thread properly and put Charity in my post a few posts after yours when you'd already said her
Just wanted to clear that up in case you were thinking "I said that! The bitch hasn't even acknowledged it!" I too was thinking that Emma might have quit and wants to make it permanent rather than a door being left open but, TBH, I think she's rather typecast as Charity now and she might know that so would she really leave voluntarily?

Megan Robbie Debbie and Pete will be at tge cottage so could be any of them . Personally i think Robbie
Pretty pointless to kill Robbie off, he isn't exactly a big character. Killing him off will do nothing for the other characters remaining. It would be such a waste. Especially since people are liking him now.

Sounds a good storyline .....but PLEASE not Charity.....ED would not be the same without her IMO..

Hope nothing bad happens to any of them all three are great characters ...but I am enjoying this story ..so many twists and turns.

Lol Alley - I really don't think they'd bother spending time actually filming a funeral, complete with star characters, for some random extra.
Hell, they couldn't even be bothered filming a funeral for poor lovely late-lamented Viv. 
Anyone know when this is going to be shown? I'm going away for a couple of weeks in mid-October and I'll be very peed off if I have to wait until I get back to see who it is!

I know Jaded - I still fume when I think of how Viv/Deena was treated - especially now that Donna's buried in the churchyard. Although I know she fell out with the ptb at the time, it wouldn't have been too much surely for them to have held the funeral off screen but for her still have been buried in the village would it?
And I know I'm living in cuckoo land by thinking that all of those mentioned will survive. The only twist I can think of is that it will be Pete who will end up drowning. Seems odd that Debbie would call on him rather than Cain to go with her ....

I honestly believe that the worst thing Deena Payne did was take that year off as all it did was prove to TPTB that in their opinion she was dispensable
I always think you take a chance when you do things like that but most actors seem to get off with it but poor Deena didn't. Even if they'd fallen out with the actress personally treating a long running character who was popular with many viewers like that was diabolical and disrespectful, not only to Deena/Viv but to us. It really stuck in my craw that a short-term character like Jackson got a huge send off (complete with video!) not all that long later
