What an absolute joke.
A house ablaze from top to bottom and filled with lung bursting smoke yet Alfie and Kat escape with a few minor burn marks. It's insulting trash like this that gives soaps a bad reputation. |

Burns are pretty bloody serious.
Ok, smoke inhalation is a major problem with fires, but Alfie and Kat got out *fairly* quickly. The worse option would be to do nothing at all. I don't see how this equates to it being a 'ridiculous' episode, especially when fires are Soap staples and smoke inhalation never seems to come up in any of those either. |

The most ridiculous thing was the complete lack of a smoke alarm? There are babies in that house. Talk about irresponsible.

Alfie's burns looked very minor considering the entire house was blazing away. No way could anyone get away with such minor injuries in a fire like that.

The house being on fire probably looked worse than it should have done because those particular sets are merely half constructions.
Beyond the hall way there is absolutely nothing there to add the illusion it's a full, empty shell. Thought the explosion was good... I see they haven't forgotten Tamwar's ordeal BUT why didn't Sharon mention Tom? Didn't he die in that house many years ago during another fire? |

I don't mean to sound horrible but wouldn't such a young baby be seriously harmed even if Kat was cradling him to protect him he would have inhaled a lot of smoke.
I don't know anything about it but is it not a bit unlikely he isn't off to hospital too? |
