....SHOT?

Ok so for those who have read the spoilers and seen the promo trailer we know someone is going to get shot and end up fighting for their lives.

Who do you think will be the victim and who do you think will be the shooter?

Personally I hope Denny shoots Sharon by accident

However I am starting to think Sharon might accidently shoot Ben while aiming for Phil.

Denny. Maybe he hears a row downstairs and walks in while people are trying to wrestle a gun off each other, then it goes off.

No idea, but Sharon is going to have a hell of a job explaining why she's got a loaded gun.

The gun ends up at the Vic because Denny packs it by accident and the spoiler says: Will Shirley set things off with a bang? And Aunt Babe saying, he hurts you, you hurt him back ten times harder. Obviously Phil hurts her by telling her he wants her and not Sharon but then doubles bluffs and sticks with Sharon. I can't shake of this horrible feeling that Shirley finds the gun and shoots with possibly Denny being the victim.

In the promo Sharon is sat at a desk, looking at her wedding ring with blood on her dress, I think they are portraying her as the victim but I don't think she will be the victim of the shooting.

I'm not sure how anyone would get away with firing the gun though? Surely they would be arrested?

I would find it interesting if Denny fired the gun or something.

Shirley is probably the shooter but dunno who gets shot. I would love it if Denny is the shooter so he can get taken in care and never seen again (until he's in his teens).

If it is Shirley, I have no reservations that Linda Henry will pull it off. (She was Yvonne Atkins after all! Ha!) But, I do wonder about the repercussions for Shirley. If she shoots then surely she would be arrested or something? And obviously Sharon would have to explain how she has a loaded gun in the first place, which would then implicate Phil and Ronnie..

I'm sure Linda Henry will be fantastic. She would be so distraught that she hurt Denny by accident. But if Shirley shoots a kid, there's no way she can get away with it :/

Sharon would have to face the consequences because she was the one who hidden a loaded gun. I know it was Ronnie's gun but she should have disposed it or reported it to the police..

Denny, Jay or Tosh will get shot I think, or even Shirley.

I think Sharon is unaware that Denny packed the gun in her overnight bag. This would mean that once it reaches the Vic, it falls out of her control unless she unpacked the bag. There would be lots of chances for the gun to be taken out - and Sharon would not ask about its whereabouts as she doesn't know it is there.

I think Shirley will be angry with Phil for double-crossing her again and (possibly having drowned her sorrows) get it into her head to either shoot Sharon (eliminate the rival) or shoot Phil for the final humiliation of having built her hopes up for nothing. Babe's advice about hurting Phil was significant.

I get a bad feeling though that it will be Denny who is shot. Sharon would still be a victim, as her child has been injured, and she would have his blood on her dress from holding him while they wait for the ambulance.

Agreed. At the very least she should have dumped the bag with the gun on the table in front of Phil and told him she didn't want guns in the house, and she wanted him to get rid of it.

Bib 1: Most definitely.

Bib 2/3: It was these comments that made me think that Shirley is the shooter too and the significance of Babe telling Shirley to hurt him back, ten times harder.

It's possible that Shirley threatens Phil or something with the gun but maybe someone tries to intervene and it fires accidentally thereby shooting an innocent bystander (most likely Denny). Though even in that instance someone would have to be held accountable and if a child got shot, those involved would be instantly hated.

I'm not sure how the aftermath would play out for the characters involved...

Would they really have Denny shot though? Not just because he is Sharon's child but because he is a child and I can't see them showing a child getting shot.

I don't want it to be Denny that gets shot because it's Sharon paying the price again whilst Phil gets off scot free.

That was my only reservation, you would think that they would get a lot of complaints - but if Sharon is being painted out as the victim...unless it is Phil that gets shot, again.


I would much prefer this scenario, it would be a good twist as well.

If Shirley shoots anybody, then she better be prepared to go off with her son Dean because I cannot see her staying on the Square unless she had a nervous breakdown when the gun went off. Then she would have to be institutionalized for a while but she would be able to come back.

The current leading theory is that a single bullet goes through the window and manages to go through both Dexter and Fatboy killing them instantly never to be mentioned again.
