Maybe not.
If someone is injured/killed, the police will want to know where the gun came from. If Shirley was the shooter, she will say she stole the gun from Sharon's overnight bag, and fired it deliberately,
Sharon would be questioned, and say she found the gun, in a gift bag, on Phil Mitchell's kitchen table. Remember - Sharon does not know it was Ronnie's.
Phil will be called in and questioned. Will he drop Ronnie in it by telling the police the gun was hers, or claim the gun was his own rather than see her back in jail, especially as she is pregnant?
If he does this to protect Ronnie, what if the gun has previously been used in other crimes (Ronnie sourced it illegally) and it gives Marsden the chance she has been waiting for? Phil could end up implicated in a murder he didn't commit just by claiming ownership of the gun.
Do we think that Sharon featuring in the 'everybody hurts' trailer means she is ruled out as the shooter? I always thought she would be because she kept the gun but that line about setting things off with a bang has really confused me! Haaha

Yeah, I have heard that too. I still don't see how any character will get away with shooting someone?

I think it'll be an accident of some sort. Sharon finds the gun in her overnight bag, Shirley spots her with it and thinks she plans to shoot Phil, she tries to take it off her and it goes off injuring Sharon. Cue misunderstandings galore before Sharon admits it was her gun...............
I think it will be an accident too, if it was a deliberate shooting, someone would have to leave and I don't think anyone is leaving atm...
I really don't see it being Sharon or Phil, maybe Roxy... or Ronnie? (Although I hope not because I want her to have this baby)

Oh no, hadn't even considered this...can you imagine what a wonderfully twisted monster another dead baby would turn her into...I don't think they'll do this as even EE needs to keep one foot in reality and the perpetually unlucky with kids Ronnie is already way out there!
