I LOVE that song so I'm slightly gutted we didn't get to hear it, I'm sure she sounded amazing on it.

Yeah I asked her at the last Twitter Q&A if she recorded anything for CWL that we didn't hear, I was disappointed too!

But Syco has no rights on that song though, it's a cover so she can release it under her new label, I think?

she'd have to re-record it, Syco paid for those sessions therefore it's their prerogative whether or not that specific recording sees the light of day. Unless it leaks lol.

I have been a Leona fan right back from her first audition in X Factor and have followed her career ever since! I have been following this thread for a while now and thought it was about time I started joining in!
Quick question:
Does anyone know if Leona is making an appearance on this years X Factor UK to perform live? Correct me if I am wrong but there has never been a year where she has not returned to remind us all that she is still the best star the show has ever produced!
Anyways...heres to lots of posting from this day on! Off to listen to OMS!

!Leona never appeared on it in 2010, though that is the only year she hasn't been on it. I don't think she will be on it this year, given that she's not with Syco and has no material to promote.
I'm sure Simon will invite her on next year to promote her new material!
Welcome Gareth, doesn't look like she'll perform this year as she hasn't anything to promote and is quite busy in the studio. Would be nice to see her pop onto the show and perform "Ave Maria" though. One can only dream.
