Yes, it is faster now, when she belts.
Her chords are now more controlled and that's why her voice sounds sharper and the vibrato faster.

You can notice the difference, when you listen to Run live performances.
When she did the can't raise your voice to saaaaayyyyy in 2008 (before the bridge), the vibrato was slower. And nowadays it sounds so much better, because it's sounding faster and more precise.
On the other hand I think the slow vibrato she applied to Bleeding Love belts sounded better back in 2008.

Yeah I mostly prefer the fast one now. My favourite uses of it are at the end of fireflies and in the come alive acoustic video.
It is nice to hear the slow one though. I used to have so much fun with my friend imitating it lol

I would reeeeaaally love to hear Leona talk about the development of her voice since she won xfactor. I think it should be more common for famous singers to talk about the technical aspects of singing sometimes lol

What are you on about? It wasn't Katy. Leona and Katy seem to get on. Don't you remember when Katy said she and Leona were going to become lesbians and move in together? haha!

Also, Leona's vibrato being faster = good. A slower vibrato is generally signs of less control over your voice (although you can make it slower on purpose). A more rapid vibrato is also more pleasant to listen to imo.

Funny you mention that, I have it open just checking over everything haha. Just going to label the notes all properly and maybe try to add one or two more. I'm trying a few "newish" things. Trying to add in some vocal runs and label them rather than doing constant sustained notes to add a little bit more flair. If everything goes well (and my software doesn't crash) will hopefully have it done for tonight.

Syco should never have had her IMO. I am shocked she never got a record deal on her own without X factor if I am honest..

Really really hoping this new era changes her music to what people can connect to and radio can smash.. We need her to have the success a voice like hers can have.. As right now talentless trash and more successful world wide then an actual talent..
