So the prequel-y film Kingsglaive came out today on digital release.
Gonna watch it tomorrow as I've heard some very good things about it. Anyone seen it or planning on seeing it ? |

Just watched Kingsglaive and it's bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S, it's bananas. Took a good 20-30 mins to get to grips with it. By the end I oved it and I'm so much more invested in the lore of the Final Fantasy XV universe. I have a good understanding of how the magic and summons work with the story, and you get a good look at some of the relationships between the characters. And as a Square Enid production you know it just looked phenomenal.
I would recommend this to anyone thinking about playing the game but if you weren't going to play it then this movie isn't for you.
Spoiler
I'm looking forward to the game even more now. It really can't come soon enough. |

I on the other hand have finally concluded that what I thought made FF great is long since gone from the franchise.
The graphics are breathtaking, but beyond that, I really struggled to find anything likeable about the demo. Between this, and practically anything that comes out about the FFVII remake, I think it's just time for me to move on from the franchise. I enjoyed the FFX remaster so at least I leave on a high. Good luck everyone, hope y'all enjoy it though.

So I'm watching the live stream from Paris Games Week and it's in French so I don't really know what's going on but at one point across the screen flashes Online Multiplayer.
That'd be pretty cool for a main Final Fantasy. One month to go folks. |

My heart sank when the husky was lying on the ground towards the end. |

So many options where to pre-order from with their exclusive DLC, For the first time a numbered FF has not been pre-ordered by myself and currently not sure if i'm buying day one yet.
I do hope the prequel game will be released alone at somepoint next year. |

Like an itch needing to be scratched, I pre-ordered it. £35.85 from base.com.
Doubt i'd get any DLC except the day one edition DLC as nothing was mentioned in the listing. |

Just heard the review embargo doesn't lift until 28th Nov - the day before release. While not always a bad sign, I will say be wary and do your research before spending your money - and this is coming from a huge Final Fantasy fan. I've seen clips with the frame rate seriously struggling, like in the new Japanese demo.

I pre-ordered the Digital Premium Edition a few nights ago for £70 quid when I was pissed! Don't think I will regret it though, I've enjoyed every Final Fantasy game I've played so far (not counting XI and XIV, don't do online...). I'm currently replaying IX at the moment on PC using cheats; played it many times but just wanted to enjoy the story again!

Ive pre ordered in Gamestop, not the cheapest but I can pick it up day 1. Its the quickest way of doing it here.
The game looks amazing but i am going to keep my expectations in check. Square Enix are throwing everything bar the kitchen sink at this so theres so much that could go wrong. Hopefully nothing goes wrong and its everything I want, and more. Must watch Kingsglaive again before it comes out too. |
