Most of the plots are filler story lines. The only decent story is the Rob murder/Peter and Jim plot and the Jason and Todd story

They could try walking away or ignoring him. They don't have to stand/sit there and engage in a conversation/have the same discussion with him every single time do they?

Thanks for the read. I agree with what you said about Neil. The poor man was out there working in danger zones to provide for his family only to come back and to be treated like shit.

Andrea is utterly despicable.

TeamNeil.

My only query on the whole storyline is whether it is meant to be serious? As if it is they have failed big time. Funniest scenes I've watched in ages. So much more entertaining than the terrible cricket match or Mary's pathetic outbursts.

I'm surprised there haven't been complaints about Corrie playing down how serious it is to have a stalker. Cue a load of posts complaining that Corrie has played down how serious it is to have a stalker ...

Long live Neil - saving our soap!

Can someone advise me of the law? If lloyd and andrea are in the bistro and neil comes in, would lloyd have to leave even though neil followed him?

Would it apply to lloyds flat too? If neil stood by the door so he was closer than whatever the limit is, would lloyd have to leave?

I think andreas making it worse. Why would her daughter be mad at her? Growing up her dad was always working away so wouldnt she naturally have a stronger bond with her mum anyway? Although andrea hasnt seemed to have seen her since she started hanging around on the street.

It's predictable and boring. How many more times does some bad guy keep bumping into characters he is bothering? We had all this with Nick bumping into Leanne and Kal every episode and causing problems.

It just seems a bit harsh to me to just spring it on him, expect him to be totally cool about it and carry on as normal! Neil is clearly in the middle of a breakdown/midlife crisis so I think his crackers behaviour and car-window serenades are nothing more than an expression of that. A bit like when Dennis bought a leather jacket...

I can understand the person who said they weren't sure if this is meant to be funny or not. I admit, I do find it funny - but in a slightly dark/gallows humour way. And I do like how it's showing how ridiculously people can behave when something happens and sends them a bit off-kilter. Even if it's Andrea and Lloyd that have been the cause!

Do you mean law - made by parliament etc... or Corrie law - made up to fit the plot?

Andrea's approach to all this is stupid.

This will probably one of Blackburn's highlights for his tenure on Corrie. When in reality its dire and all characters involved should be immediately axed from the show. Its showing what a pile of awful characters they all are and that SB cannot create interesting strong new characters. Only drips and irritants.

The sooner Blackburn goes, the better.

Sophie and Muddie for instance. Compared with that boring duo, Neil is ace.

Is the stalking storyline going down a darker, sinister route of is it only a comedy storyline?

I think Neil is ace also. I hope Andrea leaves and he stays. Well Andrea can stay if she tones down the shade of lipstick she is currently being upstaged by. ..

Nutty Neil and Mournful Michael are interchangeable as far as I'm concerned. Sad, colourless rentablokes who make your heart sink slightly whenever they have a scene. The human equivalent of chinos. The actors have my sympathy, trying to breathe life into them!

Agreed. Plus to see The Mole in another relationship straight away. Andrea lacks tact.

I find Neil funny but I really do feel for him people handle break ups in different ways. He seems like a nice guy and he knows her so well. Maybe he'll bunk up with Eileen down the line.
