Kristina is being singled out because she has a history. I would feel the same if a man made a dodgy habit of getting involved with married/taken/vulnerable women.

As for the rocky marriage thing, I thought marriage was "til death us do part" not "until I get bored of my humdrum life of wife, kids and charity promotion". Would you be happy if your partner gave up on trying to work things out and fell into bed with someone else? I can't imagine someone ever being happy about that. But celebrities are allowed to do whatever they like, right? As long as they're not hurting those who blindly worship them, what does it matter? It's entertainment at the end of the day, whatever they get up to. Something for nobodies to live vicariously through.

If marriage was not important and sacred, why do people all over the world fight so vehemently to legalise it for themselves?

At the end of the day, it is all speculation (though, to those who think those involved saying there was no third party involved is gospel, remember when a very high profile person stated on camera in front of the whole world that they "did not have sexual relations" with the woman accusing him, who then, funnily enough, became very, very famous after the truth came out), but if it IS true, a fling is bad enough, but if Ben's actually gone and left his wife for Kristina, more fool him.”

No one is saying that marriage isn't sacred or that cheating isn't wrong but people at the end of the day people are human and relationships fail for all sorts of reasons. It's also a shame for the kids involved however way you slice it. I objected to the hounding of Bill Clinton too - as long as someone isn't making political capital out of being 'moral' then it it's not particuarly revelvant what they do in their private life. I don't blindly worship Kristina or any celeb but I do object to high-handledly judging someone when actually you have no idea what they're really like. I don't either but I'm not the one judging her. As someone else said it must be cold in that ivory tower.

BIB: I think that was probably me, Kat!

The justifications for this villification of Kristina are only telling me that people are judgemental without any valid reason. because all of it is speculation. Yet some on here have done away with the premise 'innocent until proven guilty'. I sincerely hope that none of them ever get called for jury duty!

It's just target practice. And it only reflects back on those who are indulging in and finding excuses for it.

What a lot of excuses and half truths.

This charity work is it's own reward and she isn't exactly down a pit slaving 14 hours a day so she can send her mam enough to buy meat once a week now is she.

She's always struck me as hard faced and selfish.

Read that back to yourself and then tell me what flaw you discover.

Bit ironic then that there is a story in the Mirror today that he and Kristina tried bullying a reporter who saw them together in a bar the night before he announced his separation

Standing up for yourself against the one who is doing the bullying is not the same as being a bully yourself.

Was it in the mirror that the "story" was originally broken? Perhaps the papers have their own agenda and reasons for reporting Kristina and Ben in that light...

Perhaps he should have got his MIL on the same page.

I don't think he's helping the situation at all by this. Dignified silence is preferable don't give the rumours any more oxygen.

Really enjoy the dancing and celebs on Strictly, really dislike Bruno's constant need to flirt with every good looking male on the show. Yes Bruno we know you are gay but I often wonder how parents react (when their young kids are watching the show) to some of his comments. It is a family show after all. Is it necessary to have patch work outfits on the women???? Perhaps I am just getting old but this constant drip of sex sex sex gets very tiresome after a while!!

Sorrry forgot the topic of Ben. Well, what can you say?? I feel sorry for his wife and his two little girls. It seems people will walk away from marriage and kids using the statement "I was not happy"!!!!!, as though we have a right to be hysterically happy all the time. Nope don't work through your problems, just replace your partner with another one!! Still I do not know Ben so who knows what his problems are. I can only say after 60 years that men very rarely leave a marriage without a replacement being in line!! I find it hard to believe that Kristina has had nothing to do with the break up.
