I have BT youview with infinity broadband (not unlimited). I know the BT Player stuff does not count towards my usage but do the other on demand players such as BBC iPlayer and 4oD?

Depends on whether you subscribe to BT TV or not. If you do have a sub then iPlayer etc don't count towards the allowance. If you have the Pay as You Go BT Player account then only BT TV programmes are excluded.
