amazing actor. timothy west is quality. what he brings to the carter family is priceless. love the character of stan, i laughed out loud about the toast and number 23.

i think the pairing of cora and stan is great. when he smashed aunt babe's trifle bowl i cheered.

He's brilliant and a great sparring partner for Cora. I was another one snorting with laughter at his inappropriate toast joke. It's exactly the sort of thing that some people would do and that's what makes him so real.

Stan is my favourite character on the show at the moment.

As for Timothy West he just blows everyone else off the screen - what an actor!

Agree with this, Timothy West is a legend, he really has been a breath of fresh air on EastEnders and they are very lucky to have an actor of his calibre on board. I can imagine my Dad being like him when he reaches that age.
