I very much doubt DTC would re-create Stax, but if he did I'd be very, very disappointed.

Put yourself in the eyes of the characters and ask yourselves if it makes sense.

On the Square, who would Stacey turn to for help. Yes, she knows she could probably stay with Carol and Whitney, but also knows her best friend (her words when she left EE the first time) Max would take her in.

He is also family, in a way, to Lily. While not her biological father, you know Lily will grow up knowing the name Bradley.

It may be she decided to stay at Max's because she didn't want to crowd Carol (after her recent illness) especially since they were already looking after two less than a month old twins.

Mo, on the other hand... there is no reason for her to stay at the Masood's except they wanted to dress her in one of Zainab's old dresses for the comedy value.
